OK so I officially have broken all ties with MLSE. I am tired of being bullied around by a bunch of money hungry old men. It was a roller coaster ride for the last 12 or so years and now I am done with the whole shebang. I have taken my name off the season ticket waiting list and I donated ALL of my Leafs gear to the Salvation Army. I even called and cancelled Leafs TV this afternoon from my cable company. It is awfully liberating. SO now I have a dilemma. Sens or Habs? I like the Sens because it is the other team in my province. I also like the Habs because I LOVE the Hamilton Bulldogs. So who shall I jump to? I am not a bandwagon type of guy so its not like I am asking about the Sens because they are doing well. Who should I choose?

Through thick and thin eh? Well I have been there and back more than a few times. Obviously you are illiterate because you did not see where I told you I am not a bandwagon fan. I have had it up the wazoo with the bullying of MLSE. That is why I am jumping ship.

If you LOVE the Hamilton Bulldogs then choose the Habs and you will see your guys progress up the ladder.

If you are seriously considering "jumping ship" to the HABS or SENS, you were never truly a Leaf fan. At all. Ever. I can't fathom a even pissed Leafs fan ever wanting to do that. Why don't you pick a western Canadian team. Sens fans make me want to vomit (especially newbies, you DON'T want to become one of them) and Habs fans won't like you, even if you like them (especially because you liked the Leafs. And you're probably an anglophone). Go with the Canucks or Flames. Or what that other guy said: Buffalo. You can catch Buffalo games on AM radio in Hamilton and you can sometimes catch western Canadian games on cable. OR you can choose your favourite team like I did: By hating your least favourite team with imperishable passion. :D

Therefore, my favourite team = whoever is playing the Sens, yours = whoever is playing the Leafs. It's simple math my friend. You can still subscribe to LeafsTV and throw darts at the players, coaches... GENERAL MANAGERS. Ahem.

And if you'd really like to spite MLSE just leave ridiculously large amounts of trash at the ACC. (If you can't get tickets to the game, then just leave your crap in the parking lot. Old washing machines add a nice touch. So do tires, rusty hubcaps and mouldy cheese). So my point is, don't resort to the Habs, and ESPECIALLY the Sens. You can do better, buddy. So much better.

As much as the Leafs **** me off, I could NEVER support the Sens. I keep hoping Balsillie gets his team so I have a home team worth cheering for again. In the mean time, flip a coin. One team has a great immediate future, the other has a storied past.
And bravo, now if we can convince another million or so others to follow suit.

LOL @ green. My turn to get a laugh from you.

My opinion?

Do you live closer to Hamilton....or Ottawa? (I'm assuming you are closer to Hamilton as you were on the Leaf's waiting list).

You could support the Habs and watch the future Habs in action in Hamilton, and see the odd Habs game in Buffalo.

McKinley, would you like to be herded around like sheep, emptying your wallet for nothing the whole time? Didn't think so...

Personally, and this is just me...the Habs for the sole reason that I have Higgins and Price on my fantasy team and they have done good things for me. Oh, and the Habs' history, Maurice Richard, blah, blah, blah...lol

A real fan sticks through thick and thin. What happens when you choose one of those teams and they stop being competative? Are you going to jump to another team?

We don't need fans like that in Toronto, go to Ottawa, thats more their style. Support the team only when its doing good. Just remember 10 years ago....

I can't see myself ever pulling for the Isles or Devils, but I get where you're coming from.

Stick with the Original 6 option. Otherwise, take it out west to Alberta.
