Would the Canucks be better off now or this?

Problems
First....Donald Waddell had the opportunity to get Luongo from Florida last summer, he declined because he believes that Lehtonen is a better goalie. So, your first trade has little chance of going through

Second.....Luongo is 10x the goalie Leclaire is and will ever be, Vancouver's problems would not be solved by the trades you are hoping for.

Third...I don't think Columbus would go nfor a deal like that either (In fact I know they wouldn't)

The Random abode Dictionary notes that: "The term Canuck is first recorded approximately 1835 as an Americanism, initially referring especially to a French Canadian. This become in all probability the unique meaning, regardless of the undeniable fact that for the period of Canada and different international locations, Canuck now greater in many cases refers to any Canadian."

I know the Canucks are struggling now, but I would not make these deals. In the long run, you'd be trading some boring wins for exciting losses. In a close game would you rather see your team win 2-1 or lose 4-3?

Kovalchuck and Nash would be excellent additions to the 'Nucks but I'm worried about cap room, and I don't think that the trades would go down just as you suggest. Bobby Lou is slumping a bit right now but he is still one of the best out there and if he picks up his game, we may be better off with him on the team. (worked last year)
