I heard a rumor He may be considering Columbus.Anybody else hear this?I think being reunited with Hitch could be a good thing.

It seems since he announced his intention to play for Sweden in a tourney in Finland this coming week he has been associated with 24 or more NHL clubs. I wouldn't get too excited about it because whomever he plays for will be getting an aging player with lots of physical ailments who may only be capable of playing about 10 minutes a game and most likely won't be relied on to play on back to back nights either.
Odds on favorite just because they have the most cap space is the Sharks. Nearly any other team who signs him will have to do some juggling to their payroll to make it work.

No I don't think he'll go to Columbus. He wants to play with a contender, so most likely Philly, Detroit or Ottawa. But Ottawa probably doesn't have to much cap space after all their major signings

One criticism of the GM who just got axed here in Columbus was that he overpaid for over the hill (Fedorov, Foote...) in an attempt for a quick fix.
The new GM, Howson, is more realistic and more patient. Unless Foppa is marking himself at least 30% off, I don't see it happening.

i'm pretty sure there are rumors connecting forsberg to about 28 of the 30 nhl teams. there is just rumor after rumor and i'm not believing anything now until i see a signing lol

He could go anywhere. I'm in Boston and this may be the only place that hasn't shown interest...which is typical of this organization.

i doubt he'll go to Columbus. they've got some great players but my guess is Foppa will rejoin the Flyers if he plays again.
