Surely the world must be coming to an end because the Leafs not only won in Buffalo but they shut them out. Did JFJr get a whole new team in the last 48 hr? I could have sworn some Sabre fans said the Leafs were lousy. If they are, what would that make the Sabres?

I KNOW!!! I woke up, put it on ESPN, waiting for that scroll thing on the bottom of the screen to pull up NHL scores. BTW, why is it every time the NHL scores are about to show, they go to commercial. Man, it ticks me off. Anyway, I saw the Leafs/Buffalo score, & I honestly thought I saw it wrong. I had the wait for it to scroll back around again. Good for the Leafs!!!!

Ugh, I am a Sabres fan, but last night was a pathetic show in the second and especially third periods. They seemed to start out so well with the goal (shouldn't have been taken away IMO), but what the h*ll happened? I will admit when the Sabres don't do well, and the offense last night was unbelievable. Don't you think Vanek could have bought a goal with some of his 10 mil? I don't think the Leafs played all that well either, it was a weird game to watch.

Anyone see the Locker Room comments made by Miller after the game? You know the offense isn't doing their job when Miller gets pi$$ed.

The ticker tape parade is being organized right now. It won't be on Bay street though. It will take place on the QEW from Buffalo to Toronto.

Every time the Leafs win is another day you Leafs fans will have to put up with that genius of a GM JFJr. Not to mention Tannenbaum and Peddie. They are hockey genius as well. They have to be because the team sucks but will be sold out in perpetuity.
The cult that is the Maple Leafs. Once you stop drinking the kool aid you will understand.

I can assure you the world is not coming to an end because the Maple Leafs won a game by way of the shut-out. What the Leafs tend to do is play one really poor game followed by a good win. With this it gives the fans a chance to jump back on the bandwagon after they jumped off the game before. Just like most Leafs love to do, they love to hate their leafs. And for the record, the Sabres are not the same team as last year, at this point in the season last year they were 13-1-1. What happened is they lost Chris Drury and Daniel Briere and didn't replace them with the same type of talent. Can you say lack of offence?

The leafs did not win the game, the refs won the game for Toronto.
I am not a sabres fan so dont lump me in with them. I just hate the Leafs.

The Lightning started it all when "the skies opened up" and now the Leafs are turning it around.

Trade Toskala!

The more important thing (where's Chris) is that McCabe didn't score into his own net.....just like the last game against Buffalo

Naw. Raycroft usually plays well when he has had time off. Being the work horse last year I think he was glad to get time off.
