mine was this last weekend...on a par 3...190 yrd hole...i hit an amazing 3 iron off the tee within 2 feet of the green...

How many yards can you hit the ball with each club? Like as the iron number gets lower how much of an increase in yardadge does it add to your shot? I just need a rough estimate. I know it differs from 1 person to the next.

I played a golf shot in a bunker, thn the following happened, is it right?
The ball didn't make it out of the bunker, but some sand blew into my eye, as I was wiping it away my club touched the sand. I was told by my playing partner that it was a 2 shot penalty for touching the sand.
Is this the correct interpretation of the rule ?

Was it my TV which is a flat screen LCD that makes everyone look very thick or do they really got fat? I mean my TV is set at 16:9 and it seems very LPGA pros body were very thick. Anyone watch it on a normal square TV? Have they gone fat lately?

How can she be eligible to play at Stanford after years of endorsement money from Nike, accepting appearance fees to play in tournements and even accepting prize money from the LPGA 2 years ago.
University of Colorado WR Jeremy Bloom was determined, by the NCAA, to be ineligible to play football his Senior year because he earned endorsement money and prize money from skiing events.
Isn't this a double standard and just one more reason to hate Mechelle Wie?

on my last round of golf with friends, my partners ball get into a bunker. the ball lies at the slope area of the bunker where there was no sand or grass. the orginal ground surface could been seen & due to a heavy wash out the surface condition has someting like drain. what is the rule? can the ball be drop within the bunker area?

Well I am 17 years old and have taken an interest golf. I go golfing every day since I live on a golf course and have gotten steadily better. I was wondering if it is possible for me to make it onto the PGA tour say by the age of 25 or did i pick up golf to late in life to even think about trying to play pro.

I drill the ball in golf, but there is a left hook at the end of the ball flight. I am drilling the ball (i'm 14 and drive it 250-260, i actually drove it 300 today with the wind at my back), but i dont know why i jump hook it like that. It's only been happening for a little bit, but its throwing off my WHOLE game. I think I'm dipping my back shoulder, but thats only my expert opinion. thanks alot for any advice.

I saw some golf course groundskeepers spraying some sort of green stuff to the bad (brown) patches of grass. They said it was made for lawns and helps keep it looking nice. Does anyone know what this "stuff" is and where I can buy some? It was in a regular spray can, like spray paint, but made just for grass. Thank you.

Hi im 13 years old, I play golf and I hit my Callaway ERC Fusion Stock Regular shaft club about 255 yards. My swing speed is about 95. I want to hit the ball farther and straighter to. I was thinking about getting a Taylor Made r7 to see if I liked it since people said they are great drivers. But I wanted to know should I get the Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana s63 stiff shaft, or should I get a Aldila shaft put in? Should I stay regular or stiff help please? Any suggestions?
