I drill the ball in golf, but there is a left hook at the end of the ball flight. I am drilling the ball (i'm 14 and drive it 250-260, i actually drove it 300 today with the wind at my back), but i dont know why i jump hook it like that. It's only been happening for a little bit, but its throwing off my WHOLE game. I think I'm dipping my back shoulder, but thats only my expert opinion. thanks alot for any advice.

first check you aim if you are aiming right too much your swing will go too much inside.check your grip a strong grip will cause you to pull or whip hook a drive. the last thing is to look at your club position at the top of your swing use a mirror for this if its closed or pointing too much left or right that can cause a hook also. get ben hogan's five lessons to learn more

The reason the ball curves is because the clubface is not perpendicular to your swing path at contact. First, be sure that during address, the clubface is square.....then take your grip. Also, I would check to make sure that you are making contact with the ball in the middle of the clubhead. Sometimes, when contact is near the toe, you will get the "left hook at the end of the ball flight".

You are shifting your weight in the wrong direction when you hit the ball. The proper way to shift your weight is foward toward the ball. You are shifting your weight toward the rear causing the ball to hook. You are probably not aware that you are doing it. Have some one stand directly behind you and waatch your hip movement as you hit the ball

In my expert opinion ( I am 61) if you want to cure this....go find a real expert.... a teaching pro.....someone who can actually see you swing and thus see what you are doing wrong. But hey thats me.....I've only been a swing coach for 15 years

Go to a pro and have your swing analyzed on video. He could fix your swing. Good Luck with that
