The executive golf courses are typically par three golf courses.

Its the distance of the holes...executive courses typically have much shorter holes than a championship course. They usually make the executive courses where land is at a premium.

Executive courses (at least the ones I know) don't have any par 5 holes. They're frequently only 9 holes.
