Hi im 13 years old, I play golf and I hit my Callaway ERC Fusion Stock Regular shaft club about 255 yards. My swing speed is about 95. I want to hit the ball farther and straighter to. I was thinking about getting a Taylor Made r7 to see if I liked it since people said they are great drivers. But I wanted to know should I get the Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana s63 stiff shaft, or should I get a Aldila shaft put in? Should I stay regular or stiff help please? Any suggestions?

im going to say, you dont need any more yardage. your hitting the ball almost as far as my dad(280). but, if you must, id go with the TM r7, which is what i use. i hit about 180-200, but i am problable much smaller than you. my swing spped has see an increase fof about 20-30 after switching off of a driver similar to the Cala erc. just remember, it may matter on yourself and/or your style of play
By the way, im 13 also

EDIT: and problably a much worse golfer

Ok....I am 61 yrs old.....I hit my driver @260 - 270 and I play to a 4 handicap. My swing speed with driver is about 95 - 100 and I have an R7 with a UST Pro Force V2 in a regular flex. A stiff Flex will take away a few yards . If you are straight with the regular flex stay with it. Also I would not buy something to see if I liked it....that's why golf stores have launch monitors. The ERC is a great club.....I would however consider re shafting it to a better shaft than the Callaway Stock shaft you have in yours. I'd recommend against stock TM Shafts I bought mine stock on Ebay figuring to re shaft it anyway

I think with your swing speed 95 MPH you can get more distant without changing the driver. Try working on your swing and impact, you should be getting more distant anyway. BTW, I own superquad R7 and it's a good club. If you don't have any problem, get it anyway, but still work on your swing. I think both shafts are OK, they are not too stiff (even for the stiff flex). Don't get proforce UST just yet. Those are really stiff.

Try lifting weights and getting stronger. That's all I have ever done. I don't use any fancy clubs and i've never taken lessons and I have driven the ball 350+ yards before. Granted i'm 27, but I only weigh 175 lbs.

I would like to ask a few things before I suggest much...

What is the loft, shaft length, your height, wrist to floor measurement, ball you are using, etc.

More info would help alot.

When I was your age, my father got me some balls that had a steel ball in the center of the golf ball. Wow. Smashers.
See if they still sell these at a sporting goods shop.
