Ive almost always been a taylormade guy so when i cracked the face on my r7 quad i bought the newer version the r7 460 10.5 stiff. Then my dad had me try a titleist 983k 8.5 stiff after i bought the new r7, which is then when i hit them both the r7 went about 270 when i hit it hard but the misses were always high slices that only went 250. When i hit the 983k the all but on were perfect trajectory and more like 290. I was wondering if the same effects would happen with the r7 if it was an 8.5 degree as well.

im 5 4" and i was wondering how too make my shots straighter.
On a tee shot i some times go up seventy yards far left
My driver is a 10.5 loft and oversized. how do i overcome this.

I just read a book, and in it was a story about an American pro golfer who was invited by the King of Saudi Arabia to play golf with him in his kingdom. He was picked up by the King's private jet and to cut the long story short ... they played and had good times. Before the golfer flew off, the King wanted to give him a gift. The golfer politely refused and said that the King has been a gracious host and blah blah blah. But the King insisted .. so the golfer finally said that he collects golf clubs and maybe the King could give him golf clubs. So he flew home and a few weeks later, while he was wondering about what sort of golf clubs he'd get from the King of Saudi Arabia, one day he received a letter containing a deed to a 500-acre golf course in the US.

Now, is this story true and if so, who's the golfer? Does anyone know?

Does anyone out there love golf as much as me? I think it's really fun and a good sport to keep practicing at and get better at. Does anyone else agree with me? If so, what kind of clubs do you have? I've supported him since he was 19 and I was 15 and thats a good seven years. Surely its about time he won a major. He's good enough and he did quite well today.
