It depends on your personality. Golf is very much a pne person game. Each time you play, you are battling yourself.
Yes the score does matter whenm compared to others, but in the end your fate is totally in your hands.
Some people prefer a team sport when it is the team that wins or loses the game. Golf is a sport that is dependent only on you.
It also makes a great 4 hour outing. A great means of getting out of the house for the day :-)

Why to some people surf and others run marathons. It's all about personal preference. Golf if a game of precision and consistency. Some folks hack and slach there way to the green and others get there in three.
It's all up to you. Golf is not for everyone but niether is running a marathon. Find a game you like and try it out. Enjoy.

Golf is relaxing and challenges your skills all the time. People who think golf is boring do not want to put the time in to be good at it.

I think it's a sport that you actually have to play to think it's interesting cause I think it is VERY boring to watch...but I never played so I don't really know if it is fun
