Actually I'm so confused!!! The issue is what happnd in the final match which is the most important thing discussed by people during these days. I mean what happend between Materazzi & Zidane? Did materazzi say sth to offend Zidane or not? Zidane says yes ans he will explain to people of France. Do you know what he has explained? But Lippi confirms that he's sure Materazzi hadn't say anything? Who is right? ho is telling the truth?...........

In my opinion, this World Cup was quite successful. Germans did make a lot of effort to host the games well. Although theire home team wasn't the last champion, but they deserved to get much more praise than any other nation because of thier hard work for the WC. So anyway, say thanks to Germany. I has come out that during the game immediately following the incident between Zidane and Materazzi, Cannavaro told the head referee that Materazzi made a very offensive comment to Zidane. This is not to say that Cannavaro approved of what Zidane did but it does show a little of that magic some (including myself) thought was lost in that game. Cannavaro didn't have to acknowledge that he'd heard it. He could have just shrugged his shoulders and denied hearing anything but this sounds like a fellow athlete who quickly realized and appreciated what was about to happen (the red card) and felt compelled to say something. Wow - what a man, what a player, what a descent human being.

Marco Materazzi bad mouthed him after which Zidane gave him a head butt in the chest. One of their moves to get their hands on the cup. They certainly are a smart team but they can never be regarded as a talented team. To top it off they had a big mouth for a coach. Dont forget that one of their players cheated against Australia too.

it's easy to say we are arrogant, maybe some r, but you havent realized that u r too.
For your information, i like to add that your player had said to zidane that he is a "dirt terrorist"....
I suppose if a french say to an italian he is a fascist he would certainly do the same thing.... But the difference is in France we are not racist... In italian team you don't have immigrante\ player... WHY???
