If thats the case..and the report is true as stated on yahoo's site...( read about it there ) then I would have the done the same but NOT in front of 1.5 billion viewers and millions of fans across Germany!!.
He still should have kept his cool. It was meant to be his last game of his international football career!.
He should have shown that hes ABOVE such racist comments about his Algerian decent and his faith ( Islam ).
That is a mark of a great man!

If what he had said is true, he should be banned for elements of racial slur by UEFA and FIFA. But as a sportsman Zidane he should not reacted the way he did. He reacted as a normal human being who had his mother's honour disrespected.Zidane's mother is unwell (so the papers say) and his mental state of mond may not have been great.
