If Zidane were not red carded, France probably would have a slightly better chance but it may not be enough though to beat the Italians. But both teams did well and a penalty shootout to decide the winner is unfortunate for any match.

Im Malaysian too from Selangor !
And I say...probably NO!.
Italy were the better side by yards in the Berlin final. You must remember they ( Italy ) have the pedigree but France had a bunch of older players. They were slower generally speaking but skilled. Didnt you notice how skilled the Azzuri were in being flexible - ie; alternating from being in attacking mode to a more defensive mode. Look at how many Italian defenders were in the goal area everytime a French foward was there.Smart tactics and smart play. Kinda subtle.
Italian strategy worked for them that fateful evening in Berlin.
I also believe that if Zizou were still in that match, things still might have gone the Azzuri's way!!!
Congrats to the Romans!

If I wasn't so poor, maybe I would be rich!! Get over it, France lost. You cannot bring back the dead no matter how much you hate Italy. All this garbage is WILD SPECULATION. Trezeguet would have shot even if Zidane was in the penalty shootout.

the accepted reason is because not one of the officials surely observed or heard what Materazzi reported and it has continuously been a fave that no penalty is given until eventually the act became eye witnessed by an reliable. or you'll have each and every participant reporting others and the position ought to that flow.

Yes.I think they could because they could attack more in extra time also if Zadane wasn't given the red card the,the France players mental and concentration would be better.

I don't think it would have made that much difference. But, Zidane will for sure be much more well known than before.
