well.. if you look at the video right before he did it.. the Italian player grabs Zidanes nipple and squeezes it which is a very offensive gesture in Zidane's nation where he grew up (Algeria) and rumors have passed around that after that.. the Italian player calls Zidane a terrorist.. so I think if that was true Zidane was provoked by that.. of course the Italian player denies any of this because Im sure he wasnt aware of FIFA's new racism policy.

Because of zidane background 9he was born in France and son of Algerian emigrant couple, he called him " you son of a muslim bich, you all are terrorists"

There are two big insults in the medeterranean area, wether in southern france, italy, Greece, Tunisia.... is when you tell someone your sister is a whore or son of a bich, not any bich but muslim terrorist bich.
