Yes I do think they did a great job. No one expected it of them despite all the talk and hype. I was disappointed in Henry for a few things in various games but Zidane held them together like glue and they responded. They played very well in the Final and have every right, as much as others, to be proud of their performance. I really think they had Italy in the Final until the Zidane drama. Shame. I would have loved to have seen the Penalty Shootout replaced by more overtime to see who scored and won the cup by scoring the winning goal.

Absolument!! France impressed everyone with their tight defence line and creative formation to keep up pace with their brilliant striker Henry and they played some of the best games in the tournament. To everyone who's booing them or calling them "frogs" you either don't know anything about football, or more likely you're just upset your team lost to them. But France deserved every win and the final was truly a battle between the best. Vive la France!!

Yea, if Zidane didn't headbutt Materazzi like a jackass they might have gone further. Too bad he let the team down and the country down....but the worst thing is the French are honoring him. I guess it takes one to know one.

Yes the French played amazingly. And if werent for Zidane being provoked into headbutting Matterazi and getting red carded, i think France would have won the cup. Zidane Rules!!! Viva La France!!!!!!

Zidane showed how much confidence he had when he scored that penalty. Meganazi and his Italian diver squad had to play dirty which is typical of the mafia cats.
