According to a poll in New York Newsday, Option 4 could be the Jets secret weapon to victory on Sunday:

Predict the outcome of the Jets-Patriots game this Sunday

1)Patriots win and cover (104 responses) 55.9%
2) Patriots win but don't cover (27 responses) 14.5%
3)Jets win outright (21 responses) 11.3%
4)Both coaches get caught videotaping and everyone is kicked out of the stadium and the NFL decides the winner based on playing XBox (34 responses) 18.3%

This question is for objective, non-Patriots fans only - For the simple reason that I wont be able to stomach a homer Pats fan posting that Maroney is a top RB when in fact hes very overrated and mediocre at best.

We all know how dispicable Vick is. Warrick Dunn is also a successful black athelete. He also grew up in the South, where dog fighting is allegedly part of the culture, and didn't have the best homelife (raised by his mother, a police officer in Baton Rouge who was gunned down in a robbery). Dunn doesn't need Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to speak on his behalf. His actions speak for him. While Vick uses his NFL spoils to fund dog fighting for all his thug buddies and smoke weed everyday, Dunn has helped over 100 poor families buy their first home. Do the same ignorant people wearing Vick jerseys in support of a fellon think Warrick Dunn is soft or label him an uncle Tom? Why can these people only see race and not right and wrong? Sorry for the rant....just thinking aloud.

I feel as though when I ask the question, only about 1 out of 4 answers actually answer it, especially if it is a two part question.

It is one thing to make a funny comment rather than answer, but it seems like most people don't even read the whole thing or they fail to fully comprehend what the person is asking (ie someone will ask who the best current receiver in the NFL is, and they'll get 7 responses of Jerry Rice).

What % of answers in the football section actually answer the question?

What's going on? I live in Tulsa Oklahoma, and after the BoSox won the World Series, you could swear Tulsa changed it's name to Little Boston, same deal with the Patroits. What happened to loyality? I'm a huge sports fan (Jets, Knicks, Mets, Rangers), none of my teams really have much to brag about, but that doesn't mean I'm swapping sides. As the manager of a Lids Hat Store I sell tons of BoSox and Patroits hats daily to people who I swear didn't even no the city they played in last year. It's frustrating! Come on folks, stick to your guns and support your teams regardless of the year there having.

PS. to all you people who have been fans of this year's fantastic teams, congrats! I hope you kick your butts next year!

i think the colts are gonna win because they have a high powered offense and a good defense. Eventhough the Pats beat them, the colts did not have all there players, now that the colts are healthy nothing is gonna stop them from winning.

If the Cowboys finish the season strong, they could leap ahead of the Bears and the Dolphins for the NFL's best winning percentage of all time. Check out the following numbers:

After 2007 season if Cowboys win out, and Bears and Dolphins lose out
Cowboys (with a 15-1 finish)
416 wins, 300 losses, 6 ties
.581 winning percentage

Dolphins (with an 0-16 finish)

368 wins, 268, losses, 4 ties
.578 winning percentage

Bears (with a 5-11 finish)
675 wins, 493 losses, 42 ties
.577 winning percentage

So, there you have it. The Cowboys and we, their fans, could lay claim to their team having the best winning percentage of all time. NOt to mention 8 Superbowl appearances, winning five of those. Just another little thing to have in our favor when it comes time to discussing the "Which is the best football franchise of all time?" argument.

And next season looks to be even better.

Who's impressed?

Is this a good idea for a government figure to get involved like this?

How would you rate your teams performance this year based on your expectations when the season began. 1-10

Im an Eagles Fan and I have to say I had high hopes for this team. Aside from Brian Westbrook they didnt deliver. I give them a 5.....Only because of the way they played the Pats. Otherwise a 4 lol

i think they can go far because they are better than the bucs and seahawks considering that they have a better record then the bucs and tied with the seahawks even though seahawks had a favorable schedule. They have a chance at the packers but the cowboys beat them twice but LETS GO NY GIANTS!!!!!

Play players caught with 3 joints and a reefer because it was a borrowed car?
Let his players play after stealing from Dillards department store? (5 fingers Peter Warrick)
Count his 120+ wins over Div II powerhouses like Samford and Wofford as part of his wins as a Div I coach?
Play Gino Hayes after being tasered by cops outside PotBelly's bar in September?
Plat Derrick Gibson for asking for oral sex from a cop? (He only had $10)

Just asking.
