i think there is a fine line there some where.....for instance i cant stand Romo or Manning, i follow Farve and Brady maybe it is because of their accomplishments and that is taking nothing away from Romo and Peyton they have a great year/career too. the opinion of people vary from day to day, take O.J for instance he was the most followed football player during the whole court case 10+ years ago....never much followed his career but was drawn to it like everyone else....same way with Taylor and Lewis... peoples mind set change every week for some reason or another? but I guess to answer your question for me right now I would say Brady, but that could change tomorrow, I am not a Patriot fan per say but have enjoyed watching the season develop to the 13-0 and all the drama that comes with it!!!

GO Lions, i know they suck but home team and still watch on Sundays....why have no idea!!!!

Tom Brady. I'd even say Tebow, surprisingly. I hate to say it because he's a sophomore in college and the way people talk about him is annoying even to Florida fans. I think a lot of people hate him just because they hear so much about him, but they don't realize it isn't him hyping himself up. I can't even watch Gator games on CBS anymore. I was watching an NFL game last weekend and they started talking about him. People need to chill and let him be a kid playing college football.

Well, after I wrote all that I saw "in the world" so I would say Tom Brady by a mile, even though I don't think American football is as popular as we would like to believe anywhere else but America. Still though, Brady is on fire right now.

Football to the rest of the world is not the football we know.. The rest of the world play soccer football.. so The most popular soccer football players in the world.. David Beckham, Ronaldo.. or whoever play soccer in Europe..
