free him after 6 months, 23 months is too harsh.
he killed some mean SOB dogs that would tear an innocent person to shreds at the drop of a hat... 2 years prison? come on, he is just being made an example... did you know about half a million dogs are killed each year in the US in shelters?

Free Michael Vick? Are you kidding me? The guy is a scumbag. If only there was a way for him to feel the torture that he doled out to those innocent animals...

How can anybody in their right mind defend Michael Vick? Some say he was sorry, yeah sorry his stupid A$$ got caught. Put him in a cell with a few pit bulls each day for a few minutes & then maybe he can think about it some more of what he did to those poor dogs.

Michael Vick commited a crime and is paying for it,don't turn it into a racial issue or ask for him to be freed just because he's a professional football player, there are hundreds of persons in prison right now that are really innocent, where is the public outcry for them?just because they are not famous or lack any means their name is not even mentioned

I think it would be nicely ironic if while in prison Vick sustained a career ending injury in a prison fight that he was forced to participate in and was organized by the guards.
Then he can get a taste of his own medicine.
I also hope he never plays another down ever again. He is a deplorable human being.

Free him for commiting a federal crime? Yeah right. And what good would it do? As of now, he not only missed this season, he will miss two more due to his sentence. Then, if he's allowed to come back to the NFL, he will still have to serve his suspension which will probably be another year. I like it the way it is. Besides, he wasn't as good as the hype portrayed him to be, so he won't be missed that much.

First off, If I were to be involved in something like that, you wouldn't hear anyone protesting the idea of me being in jail. Just because you're a super star football player doesn't mean you should get special treatment. Isn't making millions a year well enough treatment? Come on now, he should have got a bigger sentence than what he got already. LET HIM ROT!!
