I'm tired of all the "I didn't hear anything from Patriots fans before they got good" BS. Why? Because people who root for teams that aren't doing well tend to do the smart thing and keep their mouths shut. Seriously, what do the Dolphins have to brag about this season? But I'd put money on it that if they do well in the future all the quiet fans would get loud again. And if the Pats do bad in future seasons, I'll bet that Pats fans get quiet again. You shouldn't run your mouth if you have nothing to back it up with, right?

Anyone agree with me?

Its one thing to watch your terrible team (BEARS) get crushed by another weak team (REDSKINS)...but Gumble is the worst...

What do you think???

I think it is b/c think about the new england patriots, how could they beat 2 of the best teams (cowboys, colts) and barley beat the ravens and the eagles. The Ravens and Eagles are not as good as the cowboys and the colts, and if anyone watched the game against the ravens monday u could see that brady was shaving point he threw the ball in the middle of the field where noone was,and he threw the ball right into moss's hand and he dropped it. soooooo

Looking at them now it's hard to believe . Was two seasons with a winning record enough for them ? What's next another 20 years of rebuilding with 20 different quarterbacks while the Packers dominate the division ?

I think everybody would love to be able to own a N.F.L. team. But what if you were actually able to. How much do the teams cost? If you could own one:
Which team?
What changes would you make?

Newman made remarks stating that he was going to go after kitna, and stated in so many words that he had the money set for the fines that would ensue. If he fouls kitna, I think he should suspended for the remainder of the regular season, what are your thoughts?

If the Packers had listened to Bret Favre and brought Randy Moss to Green Bay along with Driver and Jennings

1) Would the Packers be undefeated now?
2) If so, would they be a sentimental favorite to complete a perfect season or an unpopular team?
3) What kind of numbers do you think Favre would have put up?

I am a huge Ohio State fan but I have to tell you, I respect the fact that Hawaii is undeafed. I believe they should be playing for the National Championship. The trouble with their strength of schedule is simply the distance. Do you really think a Florida, LSU, or even an Ohio State would want to travel 10 hours to play a football game? Come on. As for strength of schedule, are you serious? What determines that anyway? The press mostly with preseason rankings that aren't always accurate. All I can say to you is Boise State 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Need I say more? Everyone thought they didn't belong their either. I say if you win all your games you should at least get a chance. In the event of a tie, then sure go to the strength of schedule. I predict that Hawaii will embarass the Dawgs.... Then what will we say about the BCS? hmmm Didn't everyone think that WV was going to massacre Pitt? Or how about Appalachian St beating Mich? Come on let them play for a title.

Since they are so confident that the Pats will win against the Steelers, why are they getting so upset about the mere mention of the Steelers pulling off the upset on Sunday?

If my team was 12-0, I wouldn't care what other teams fans had to say, and I certainly wouldn't get enraged about it, like most of you do on here.

So what if you drop one game this year? Is 15-1 so bad?

So what if you lose to the Steelers. The Pats are still in the playoffs, and that's all that counts, is it not?

Some of you act as though your entire team is going to go down in a big ball of fire if they lose one single game this season.

Oh, and by the way....come playoff time, EVERY team is 0-0.

I'm sick of people talking about taking Reggie's Heisman away. What he did happened years ago. They just need to leave the kid alone and let what he did be. I don't agree with what happened, but it happened and its over with so just drop it.

Seattle has the 15th team and will start in 09. That'll be really exciting. I hear the folks up there are football fanatics. But anyway the Commissioner was saying hopes are that they can get a 16th team for Philadelphia or St.Louis as well into the 09 season. Also he wants 2 more teams added by 2011, such as a 2nd team in New York and a possible team in Miami or Las Vegas. Do you think they are going the right way with this? I think once they hit 18teams, they should stop adding them and focus on reformatting the USL as a true 2nd division league. Surely by 2011 with 18teams, MLS will show its a real league in the eyes of the football world and by that time it should be a growing success here in the USA. thoughts?

I mean, the "46" defense was predicated on stacking the line of scrimmage and creating mistmatches. They were trying to get to the quarterback for a sack or have him panic and throw an interception/incomplete pass. Why didn't teams back in 85' focus on passing? Go into shotgun, then short, fast passes. You can't have more than 11 players on the field. When you move players on defense to play closer to the line, didn't that leave openings in other spots? Why couldn't teams take advantage of this back then?
