The holding call was bogus. Why, also, did the Raven's not have the opportunity to decline the illegal procedure penalty which gave them another chance at 4th down?

You have to agree the Ravens did stop them on 4th down twice. That should have ended it.

The holding call was questionable on 4th down but most of the decisions were fair.

Yes, every game that the Raven have lost this season is because of a conspricy theory!! Those boys don't suffer from bad sportmanship!!
When it was reviewed by an NFL there is holding!! They actually slow down the play and circle where the player is being held. Holding can be done with-in the five yards from the line of scrimage!! It was clearly into the ten yards. Now if one reads the interview from one of the Players he thinks at the end of the game of (that magnitude) that they should not call those type of penalities. When a statement is made like that it means the Ravens knew the calls were legal.
So the Raven kings are playing and we need to change the rules for games against them exclusively??
Then we have the Ravens complaining about being called "boy" however he does state that the Ref starting calling him boy after he told the Ref "You have never played football". Now why would some just say "You have never played football?" So we know that something else was said before that statement.

It's pretty sad when the Ravens local paper is the one calling them cry babies and not questioning the Plays. Wonder why?? Maybe because the Local reporter seen the game and knows the calls were with-in reason.

There is always bad calls or misjudgements, but neither were the case on the final drive. There WAS holding, is it always called..? No. At the end of the game, they usually will, and they say the one of the refs was trash talking, but I don't think that had to go with the playcalling except maybe the Personal Foul for throwing the flag which may have been instigated by the ref. However, the Ravens lost the game moreso than the Patriots won it. I'm anxious to see the game with Pittsburgh.

Rex Ryan stopped the Ravens once by calling an ill-advised timeout, which Baltimore certainly could have used when they were trying to drive at the end. The holding call was ticky-tack, but legit (come on, any football fan knows how tough refs are on any type of illegal contact/holding/interference penalties, they're called every week). Bart Scott's meltdown is the only reason anyone's making a big deal about the refs in this game. Baltimore beat themselves...AGAIN.

If you're referring to the false start against New England in the final minutes of the game, that kind of penalty is automatic and usually keeps the same down, but with penalty yards tacked on. However, it wasn't the refs that cost the Ravens, it was the Ravens. They started choking in the final minutes and couldn't put it away.

Yes, I agree. I don't hate the Pats like a lot of other people out there, but Tom Brady could murder someone and the Pats fans would say "Oh, the guy had it coming!" There is nothing wrong with sticking up for your team but come on! No one, including the Pats is infallible...By the way, the NFL is examining this game, particularly the last five minutes. And they are scheduling a meeting with the ref who kept calling Rolle "boy"...

Kyle Boller gave the Pats the game Monday, throwing into triple coverage, on 3rd and 10, in field goal range, with a 7 point lead.

No I think the Patriots won the game fair and square...to say "The holding call was bogus" is just ridiculous...he held the guy...is it only holding to you if he throws him to the ground? I have never heard so much whining about the officiating in one game...get over it...its a new week of games.

Thats the difference between starting and finishing a game. The Ravens started good finished bad. The Pats started late, finished strong and won.
