Take away his Heisman and all his career numbers/records. College is for amateurs. He was being paid to play.

I feel bad about the wins and NC though. All the rest of those guys worked hard and earned it. If I lost my NC because a teammate cheated I would be pretty pissed at him.

Why would you punish the team and not him? That's just stupid. He is the one that caused the trouble in the 1st place.

Yes and there is going to be a book that is going to let everyone know. The NCAA has already heard recordings and know he is guilty. Now they are trying to determine how to handle the situation. USC is going to get some scholarships taken away.

So, what you are saying is that Oklahoma's 2005 season should be restored because if it's all good for the Bush, it's good for the Bomar?
Yeah, since the difference in the 2 is only about $200,000.00,
no big deal right?
I say if the NCAA can take OU's 2005 season for Bomars piddly $12,000.00 over payment for a JOB he was doing, then USC should loose it's season AND it's first born for Bush getting over $200,000.00 cash and prizes for doing NOTHING....wasn't a job, wasn't a work program wasn't nothing but FREE MONEY....

I think that Bush should be punished. But since he is already out of college and starting in the nfl... they should not take away the heisman or the title.

If other players have been punished and their team had wins taken away, then why not the same for USC?
No team or player should get special treatment.

Bush is an adult...He accepted gifts as a student...and I'm sure its on page 1 of NCAA Compliance...Student athletes are not to receive ANY financial reward from the university he or she represents outside of his or her athletic scholarship...or something to that effect...He deserves to get punished...

Had the NCAA knew of his ill gotten gains, he would not have been playing. He does not deserve any awards he received as he should not have been on the field.

I don't think USC titles should be taken away, I do believe Bush should be punished. I find it unfair that USC will be paying for Bush's stupidity. If this cost USC money, I expect Mr. Bush will be in court, USC will sue the crap out of him.
