Come on, for the love of god and mercy for the Raider Nation, this is getting rediculous. It is torture watching these Qbs try and make a throw, when McCown has 10 seconds to throw he misses his target by 10 yrd, throws into triple coverage like hes Brett Favre. We are2-7 and mathematically still have a chance to win our division, so we still have a shot but not with these clowns and QB. Hey, can it really get any worse at that position

I just read an article, which stated.

Seven injured players didn't suit up, and Indy dressed only 44 players -- one fewer than NFL rules permit. Four more players went down during the game, and there's no indication when they'll play again.

If the rules do not permit less than 44, should they have been allowed to play at all, shouldn't the game have been forefited?

They're saying Deion Sanders is the only SHUT DOWN corner to ever play. Al Harris told NFL Network he is the other shut down corner besides Deion. What is a shut down corner exactly? Ints, tackles, deflections, off. not throwing your way, etc...? I like this topic because to me if you are a shut down corner today in this league thats the real deal. So you can argue guys like, Mel Blount, Rod Woodsen, Darrell Green, DeAngelo Hall, Champ Bailey, Al Harris, Charles Woodson, etc... What is your top ten of all time?

A Football player scores and pulls out a DR pepper and dances and drinks it and then he climbs the goal post and does a belly flop off it... the real question i have is what kind of a fine would that be in the NFL if lets say T.O. did it?

Notre Dame is being called racist for how they treated Ty Willingham, and by letting Charlie Weiss stay, they're reinforcing that image. What does Notre Dame need to do to rehibilitate their racist image?

Does anyone think that Belichick/Pioli/Kraft talked AV into going to Indy as a NE mole? Win the minor games, make the kick good if the points don't matter, but when it comes to crunch time...you know what to do. Vinatieri's performance during 06-07 Super Bowl run was to set the hook, keep reelin' in the fish for years to come...

I'm just jazzin' ya, I love a good conspiracy theory, no matter how ridiculous. After tapingsignalsgate and crowdnoisegate, ya never know.

It would make 3 wins, could they get invited to a bowl game based on their final 2 victories and their proud tradition?

Okay, I'll give you this: Norv Turner is a HORRIBLE coach and Phillip Rivers is obviously backsliding under Norve Turner's new system. Our offense looked horrible, Rivers got booed at the end of the game, and Ladainian Tomlinson looked just as shocked as everybody else when we pulled off Sunday Night's victory.

But I am getting SICK of all the bullshyt excuses and talk about how BADLY the Colts played instead of the focus being on where it needs to be: How awesome was San Diego's special teams and defense? Count em SIX interceptions (3 from Antonio Cromarite which make 6 in the last two games alone) and 2 kick returns from Darren Sproles for touchdowns! So why is the focus not on them?

I HATE it when a good team loses, but the winning team doesn't get any of the credit. Maybe nobody noticed, but San Diego's offense was almost as bad as the Colts! So why doesn't San Diego deserve any credit for the win?

Penn State in 1994. The media and coaches were dying to give Tom Osborne a title (of course, they won two more in the '90s, but 1994 was his first) and so obviously screwed PSU is was a joke. So whichever team from the Big 12 wins out or Oregon...it could be worse. At least you're not undefeated and scoring 40 pts. a game.

I've heard a lot of talk about LSU/Oregon posted here, but very little about Kansas.

I know they haven't played but maybe two actual football teams with a pulse this year, but they are the ONLY unbeaten left in Major College football (Read: BCS leagues).

If they run the table, shouldn't they jump to #1? Beating Oklahoma and Mizzou in back to back weeks would be no small feat.

just to clear up some stuff, ppl have been posting that lsu has a tougher schedule than oregon.
Oregon-3rd ranked strength of schedule
LSU-17th ranked strength of schdule

ok so my question is, if these two teams win out, and make it to the BCS title game, what do you guys think the outcome would be

I have pretty much had it with watching Alex Smith doing nothing. They need a lot more help than just QB, but he just can't get the job done. They also need OL help, a new offensive coordinator, and better WR's. Anyone agree? Leave comments.

It seems like it would be so easy to get a 1st down if more coaches would hand the football to the fullback in short yardage situations.

I'm a Runningback, and kicker, and I'm training to get my leg stronger, and I was wondering how it's doing right now. At the moment I can kick a max. of 45 yards in the air without no bounce.
so I want to know how many yards a really good kicker in high school does, and a average kicker does.

pick 11 Conference champions. then the highest ranked other 5 teams.

like lets say the conference winners are
Boston College-ACC
Baylor-Big 12
Cinncinatti-Big East
Illini-Big 10
East Carolina-Conference USC
Akron-MAC
Air Force-Mountain West
Arizona-Pac 10
Bama-SEC
Troy-Sun belt

those 11 teams usually earn it.

now lets say the remaining highest ranked teams are
OSU
OU
USC
MI
ND

then they rank each of those 16 teams 1 to 16 by hardness of schedule and record.

but that might make too much sense
