They are already racist, which is why all the good 'black' recruits go to schools where they can contribute instead of going to ND and finding out the administration wear white cone hats.

Race has nothing to do with it. Willingham couldn't recruit anyone; look at the team now. It's not Weiss's fault he doesn't have any true athletes to work with. For his last two years Willingham recruited 2 four star and five star players each year. Weiss already has 15 signed for next year.
Give Weiss time to get his recruits into place, and they will be back. Change coaches now and Notre Dame will be hurt for a long time.
Personally, I am not a Notre Dame fan. I like Charlie Weiss.

Nah, let 'Patriot Gate' continue. Charlie Weiss is just another assistant coach from the Patriots organization whom while successful has been participating in some good ole fashioned cheating. This is the same offensive coordinator who was calling the plays while at least having files with knowledge of opponents defenses and staff updating him to changes. Let him roll in his stew until Notre Dame is a Div II school or even better, is so poor they have to join a conference. Black coaches shouldn't have anything to do with Weiss' hire on the real, that was ancient history by the time he came.

Watching football does not qualify you to coach football; and delagation is not a quality of a great head coach. If that was the case, motivational speakers would be head coaches.... please, give me a break. Charlie Weis should be fired based on the precedent Notre Dame set when they fired Tyrone Willingham, but Charlie did lose to USC in a close game to earn a 10 year contract. Given that fact, Notre Dame deserves to lose for an extended period of time and I will be happy to watch that on television every weekend; just not with you as their head coach. Perhaps Notre Dame shouldn't mock God with their "Touchdown Jesus" or at least change it now to "Jesus wept".

It's Weis, not Weiss, and I think ND should fire him and hire whoever the hell they think can help their team. Just like with black quarterbacks, eventually we're gonna get past the idea that top-level black coaches need "help" to accomplish things. If ND wants to repair its racist image, maybe it should fast-track qualified lower-level "other than white male" applicants, and let them prove or disprove their worth in the marketplace.
Organizations that promote based on preference rather than ability will fail in today's world.
Disclaimer: I'm a white guy, and I am not opposed to affirmative action programs, though they don't benefit me personally. It is to all of our benefit, as a society, if kids of whatever color see role models and success stories in their everyday world.
Nice to think about, but in reality probably still a long way off.

No. It's not about who's next, it's about holding Charlie to the same standards they held Ty to. Obviously, since Charlie is going to get more time than Ty, even though Ty never had a year such as 2007, the racism question is valid. To fix it, they need to fire Chuckles. If Ty's time there was a disappointment, then Weiss' time there has been a farce. A fiasco. A travesty. Not that I mind, I find it funny and it gives me great enjoyment to see them lose to powder puffs.

Notre Dame would hire a lesbian, muslim, arabic, midget coach if they thought it would help them win. They dont care what color their coach is its all about winning which they suck at.
And before all the negative comments start coming in I dont have anything against any of those groups, they are just all minority so I said to prove a point.

Notre Dame should hire/fire coaches without regard to race. Even if they hire a black coach, comments like above will make it seem as if they hired him only because he was black.
Race has nothing to do with coaching ability and it is racist wether you hire or fire just because one is white, black, yellow or purple

They never would have hired willingham if they werent trying to make some kind of statement in the first place.
I think Weiss is in a different world......You see him at a news conference bragging about his recruits......
