Look at the teams that have gone 15-1 in previous year, especially Dennis Green and his Vikes led by Moss & Culpepper. I think that the pats are going to fall into that "trap game" probably against the hapless Dolphins (kind of ironic huh), but if they go undefeated....I look for an AFC championship exit by a group of pissed off Colts.

I thought it was extremely hilarious!!! The only time I'd ever root for Manning's team would be when they're playing New England.

I loved Kenny Stabler and Rich Gannon, but, my all time favorite is Jim Plunkett. Nothing he ever did was pretty, except for winning two Super Bowls.

He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

It seems that Green Bay might make it to the superbowl this year. Is it just me or do you think this is possible?

Sure they've only won one game, but come on it's Notre Dame. Shouldn't they at least go to the Sugar Bowl and be ranked in the top 10 next season?

Im a patriots fan living in Washington DC and I know for a fact that Lawrence Maroney is stronger, faster, and all around better than Clinton Portis. Maroney is a better receiver, hits harder, and has better vision than the slowed down, scared running Portis. Let me know what you guys think

Illinois #19
-Wins over #1 Ohio State, #5 (at the time) Wisconsin, and a pretty good Penn State team
-Losses to Missouri, Iowa and Michigan

Texas #13
-Wins over Arkansas State, TCU, Central Florida, Rice, Iowa State, Baylor and Nebraska
-Loss to Kansas State (who got trashed by Nebraska), near loss to Okie Lite, and Texas Tech.

BCS voters vote on past reputation, and not current achievements.

thank god, man. i didn't know that OSU will lose this saturday. did you know they suck against a mobile QB(juice williams, chirs leak and tim tebow last year, etc.) i think the ducks can beat the LSU tigers (assuming if they can win the rest of their games). we have one of the nations best pass defense, flynn will make a lot of mistake against us. do you think we can win it?

I think it's the NFC South. I'm a saints fan and i was surprised to see that they actually still have a shot at making the playoffs. At 4-5, they are tied for second place with Carolina and only one win away from Tampa Bay. Wow our conference sucks!

Damn I was just on here looking at all the questions with people predicting who would win the game.
About 95 % of the people on here said the Colts would crush San Diego. One perspn even said "I'd bet all my belongings on it"

Now my question is what is your opinion of the game

I dont think top brady is as good as people think he is. I think Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are better than him. Brady is a system qb had he been on any of these teams he would have been terrible and be a back up but had brees or manning been on patroits they would have won superbowls.

Week 1 - They squeaked by a Eagles team that self destructed and literaly fumbled that game away.

Week 5 - They lost to the 4-5 Bears at home.

Week 6 - They were shut down by the Redskins for over 3 quarters and were on the verge of losing until Sanata Moss fumbled and it was returned for a td.

Week 8 - Needed OT to beat the very bad 4-5 Broncos.

Yet people say that the Packers are better than the Cowboys who's average margin of victory is 14 points or more. Is responsible for 75% of the Giants losses. Is 5-0 on the road and has only lost to New England.

I would love to hear why you "think" the Packers are better than the Cowboys.

I've seen this in other games, but at the Saints game yesterday, in the 4th Quarter with less than 7 mins left, the Saints drove down the field with the recievers or backs running out of bounds on most of the plays. It was obvious that the player went out of bounds and NOT tackled near the sideline, yet the clock continued to run. (this happened on atleast 4 plays).

Why? Why Why Why? (The refs did suck at this game)
What is the NFL rule?? Please send a link if you have one

they lose two games (dal and den) that they probably should have won, have a crazy amount of injuries that would derail any team (see indy), a much more difficult schedule than does any of the "top" teams in the league this year, and they have a winning record! Show some respect. They're not trying to buy a championship, they're not caught in cheating scandals that cause fans to question their accomplishments. they have to play the pats twice a year, and they are the least glamorous team in the league. this translates to no props from the national media, therefore, very little interest from fans outside of the region, and a foregone conclusion that they simply don't deserve to take the same field as the pats. ridiculous! they represent all that was once sacred in professional sports.

Anyway, rate them on a scale from 1-10 with respect to how impressive you feel that they have been.

My score =8
