they lose two games (dal and den) that they probably should have won, have a crazy amount of injuries that would derail any team (see indy), a much more difficult schedule than does any of the "top" teams in the league this year, and they have a winning record! Show some respect. They're not trying to buy a championship, they're not caught in cheating scandals that cause fans to question their accomplishments. they have to play the pats twice a year, and they are the least glamorous team in the league. this translates to no props from the national media, therefore, very little interest from fans outside of the region, and a foregone conclusion that they simply don't deserve to take the same field as the pats. ridiculous! they represent all that was once sacred in professional sports.
Anyway, rate them on a scale from 1-10 with respect to how impressive you feel that they have been.
My score =8

as a fan of the greatest organization in all of professional sports, i'm thrilled to see a team like the bills play with as much heart as they do week-to-week. thought i should clarify my allegiance...

You summed it up very well my friend. The most impressive is the fact you mentioned the schedule. They truly do have one of the toughest schedules. They played Miami, coming off a bye week, they next play New England, also coming off of a bye week. They have a defense that is being held together by a group of no-names, with the exception maybe of Kelsay (where is Bruce, Cornelius, Shane, Darryl now when you need them?) They have 2 second string QB's (sorry Losman isn't a starter, but has to be) but they have shown promise in that they are improving in some areas but not all.
They have a General Manager who is old school who is a gentleman first and a Hall of Fame Coach.
Glamourous? No the Bills are no frills, but they are to me and always will be the class act of the NFL.
So Pats fans, Colt fans, Cowboy fans, all the creme de la creme of the league.... hurray for your teams, but leave my team The Buffalo Bills alone, for we are the humblest of teams and while winning is nice, our fans and community always come first!
Let's GO BUFF-A-LO!

Thank you! Someone who actually takes the time to analyze our situation, rather than just saying "oh no one cares about the bills...they suck"
One thing you'll find in our games is that we never play dirty. We don't pick up dumb penalties for late hits or cheap shots. We play our hearts out every week. We had the toughest schedule in the league (tied with Oakland) coming into the season. We lost two heartbreakers by last second FGs. And we go unnoticed for the most part. ESPN almost never says anything about Buffalo and that may be why so many non-Bills fans laugh when we say we could beat the Patriots. You have to watch our games to know how much potential we have. We've suffered through numerous injuries, as you said. We basically had to start over because of the injuries (that is, our second/third string guys had to learn the game) early in the season which cost us a few losses. But we've fought back, and we try our best. If not for the heartbreakers, we'd be 7-2 (just like the colts). I appreciate your recognition because we Bills fans are not used to that.

Not very impressive. I'm sorry and I DO give them credit for not folding up the tents, but their 5 wins have come against 4 teams with a combined record of 9-36! (Jets twice at 1-8= 2-16) You can't argue about their "Tougher schedule" if the only teams they can beat are the absolute dregs of the league....and what their schedule was rated BEFORE the season doesn't matter, because that's just based on what teams did LAST year, not how good they are THIS year. The Jets (a playoff team last year) would have been considered a tough opponent based on last year, but at 1-8 this year are a total patsy. And that collapse against Dallas was one of the worst thing I've ever seen in sports.
Giving them credit for trying their best with limited talent, i'd give them a 4 or 5.

there a good team but they wont do nething with there quarterback play there d is nasty though but if ne thing maybe last wild card spot cuz they will be 5-5 after next week cuz the pats are too dominate and will go undefeated and win the superbowl so there a 5 or a 6 only cuz of there d and the pats have the same schedule if nething harder cuz they play the same conference games for example they both played the nfc east and we played the colts and you cant say this season we cheated we got caught the 1st game and have routed every team since

Buffalo are o.k, they were lucky to beat Miami the worst team in the league anyone who doesnt put up at least 30 against miami is poor, however they were fantastic against dallas and really deserved to win and are doing ok considering there injuries!
5 i rate them, i like buffalo though, hope they improve further more!
I love how u say cheating scandals u must be referring to the new england patriots, even if they have been cheating which they havnt....now there under the watchful eye of the league they clearly couldnt get away with it and there having there best season ever.
People just hate the pats so much because there good and have been dominant for years....much the same here in england with manchester united (soccer) ppl hate them coz theyve been one of best teams for years. Pat haters are clinging on to this camera scandal so hard just so they can have an excuse to hate them! its sad!

I have been a Bills fan all my life and agree they are doing good with all the key player losses and injuries this year but lets look at our 5 wins.
Jets x2 (Jets are pretty bad
Dolphins (Almost lost to them but we where in Miami)
Ravens (suck this year)
Bengals (also suck this year)
If we would have held on to beat Dallas this would be a different story. But we still have games against NE, WASH, PHI, NYG, and see us going 8-8 9-7 at best.
I love the Bills but have learned my lesson on getting my hopes up for the Bills and Sabres!

I have a girlfriend who roots for the Bills and she's enamored with them and as a result I find myself rooting for them. They came back from an 0-4 start to win the next five and that's a great accompishment. Now if only they can rise to the Patriots. That would be big.

Wolves, because they seize a particular secret and coolness that hyenas do not have, therefor it really is extra impressive for wolves to take down animals instead of hyenas, because wolves are in many cases cooler.
