He is one of the greatest QB's of all-time. 1st ballot hall of famer, has 3 MVP's, 2 Super Bowls played, 1 Super Bowl win and pretty much every career record there is.

I think his decision to come back or not will depend on how they finish this season. He has obviously showed that he can still play and is one of the top QB's in the league even at his older age. He still can escape out of the pocket, has good arm strength, and still shows his great ability to lead a team.

In my mind, he can play as long as he wants, because once you hang up the cleats, its all over. He is still better than almost all of the QB's in the league, and if they continue to be one of the top teams in the league and have a lot of potential next year, i think he should return.

I'm not a Packer fan by any means (I bleed Chiefs red) but I do have a certain level of respect for Brett Favre. He's an amazing quarterback and team player. He has a positive attitude, and that means a lot in the days of the cocky asses in the NFL.

Since I know KC won't be going very far this season, I hope GB does and Brett Favre gets this Super Bowl. That'd be nice. Then he could retire on an excellent note.

honestly everyone seems to be all saying they lost appreciate for Favre, what approximately Michael Jordan? what number circumstances did he retire? 5? 6? 7? Did it count number? No, He nonetheless had it in him. He nonetheless performed his heart out for the affection of the activity. right here is an old guy who performs his heart out and provides each thing he can for the affection of the activity and a similar people who ***** approximately Adam Jones and TO who have not got sufficient love or appreciate for the activity, leap on the "I Hate Brett Favre" Bandwagon whilst hardly every person in the NFL exhibits 0.5 the affection he does. it rather is a entire hearsay that he talked to the Lions for an hour, only like whilst the Packers suggested he develop into chatting with the Vikings. think of logically for one 2d, i be attentive to it rather is perplexing for many of you, yet whilst he develop into going to sabotage his former team, why might he do it some team that's winless? Why to not the Colts, Or Vikings? communities they performed with actual expertise. only close your pessimistic, infantile, prattling mouths and permit the folk who understand and love the activity have a good time with. Now, for the respond, he's old, he would not look skinny, his arm throws rockets nonetheless. ought to he have retired? The Jets want a million greater win to equivalent the quantity that they had final season and that they have got 10 video games left to play. He had a occupation activity this season, 5? 6 touchdowns? If he ought to have retired perhaps you should look at adult men like LT, Tony Romo, Randy Moss, they're getting kinda old, gamers who play has slipped. as quickly as Favre can not bypass obtainable and throw bullets and save away from linemen, he would be attentive to it and he will retire.

Brett Favre is the greatest football player ever, and the last of a dying breed. Packer fan or not, we should all want him to stay around as long as he can. The NFL won't be the same without him.

Brett is a winner. All of the numbers a QB is judged by, Brett is at the top or near the top. He has won a SB, been a league MVP, he's done it all. He should only retire if HE feels he can't play at a high level. If you throw enough passes especially in tight spots trying to win, you are gonna have int's. The int's don't really matter.

Favre is prolonging his career in a similar fashion to the way John Elway did...by adjusting his game. Elway leaned on the running game, Favre is throwing more high-percentage passes, trusting his receivers and leaning on his team's excellent defense. As long as he protects the football, he can be an effective passer in the NFL. But Favre's biggest weakness has always been his decision-making (hence the interception record), and it'll be interesting to see if he can stay patient and play within the system once the playoffs start.

I think he could play at least 2 more years. But, the way this year is going, I think he will retire after this year. He's now broken almost all of the quarterback records and led the Packers to a 8-1 record. I love Favre, I'm a huge fan of his and the Packers, but I'd really love to see Aaron Rodgers play.

Without a doubt he could still play competitively, I don't know if there is anything else he could prove or contribute towards another championship. The Packers need a little more than a Hall Of Famer at this point.

Considering he has the most passing yards of any NFL quarterback so far this season, I don't see how any one could discredit him anymore. Of course they still will. My thinking is this...if the pack makes it to the Superbowl and they win...Brett will retire. If they make it to the playoffs...(almost a given) or to the Superbowl and they don't win...he will be back. That's just my guess.

His accomplishments stand out more than the INTs...He is definitely one of the greatest QBs of all time...Last season, it was looking like he should have retired...but not this season, obviously...The Packers are the best team in the NFC...
