Come on, for the love of god and mercy for the Raider Nation, this is getting rediculous. It is torture watching these Qbs try and make a throw, when McCown has 10 seconds to throw he misses his target by 10 yrd, throws into triple coverage like hes Brett Favre. We are2-7 and mathematically still have a chance to win our division, so we still have a shot but not with these clowns and QB. Hey, can it really get any worse at that position

That's the problem, we haven't gotten behind enough to put him in, its been close til the 4th quarter and we fold. Culpepper is the human fumbler and McCown is the human Int.

They should probably give Russell a chance, although against MIN might not be the time. Not that Culpepper or McCown will do any better, you just don't want to shake a rookie's confidence by throwing him into a game that he'll need to perform really well to win. It would be better to use him against a team that Justin Fargas will be able to carry the load and just allow the QB to manage the game.
Russell's extended holdout really hurt his chances of playing this year, but he'll grab hold of the reins sometime late this season and Culpepper will be where he belongs: out of the league.

Without a doubt.
He should be ready to come in and play right now, and for the monry they are paying him, why is he not in there. He is going to be the QB of the future for them, let him get his feet wet now. They may not make it to the play offs, but he could make an impact on a poor offense like theirs.
Russel may have his confidence shaken, and that may be why they do not play him, but the whole team is on a drought right now. They need some kind of spark to get it going.

I think we should play immediately so we can see what a major bust he is going to be. This guy is going to be our Alex Smith. You are right though, nothing could be worse than McClown. Who is the idiot that thought this turd was capable of being an NFL QB? Detroit practically gave him to us. I guess I was wrong when I thought Matt Millen was a friend of Al Davis.

Go ahead start him against minnesota, watch his run game get shut down while he panics throws deep interceptions all over the place. But the again, at least hes not Josh McClown, or Daunte the human interception.

I would like to see him play. I enjoyed watching him at LSU and I think he could really help the raiders if he has learned the playbook. Start him and see what he can do, it couldnt get much worse.

please no jamarcus russell. he needs to hold a clipboard for at least three years, and get traded to a different team. randy moss was on that team last year and he was sandbagging... how many other players on that team are doing the same darn thing!

It's about time they should start the highest-paid player or whatever and not let that money go to waste.
