for high school football, is 45 yard kickoff good?

I'm a Runningback, and kicker, and I'm training to get my leg stronger, and I was wondering how it's doing right now. At the moment I can kick a max. of 45 yards in the air without no bounce.
so I want to know how many yards a really good kicker in high school does, and a average kicker does.

I officiate high school football, I would say that a 45 yrd kick is great. In saying that I need to say this, not only do you need to kick it deep but you must also be able to aim your kicks. It sounds to me like you have the depth down. Now begin aiming your kicks to the corners or away from someone that you know can run back kicks. Keep up the good work. By the way, what grade are you in?

im in the same position as you. I kick a 50 yard kickoff and im just average, so right now your just about average. A good kickoff is actually in the middle of the end zone, but if you can hit the end zone at all thats good. Don't worry about them kneeling for a touchback, they only do that 10% of the time in high school football.

Also kicked in high school. You should be consistantly putting the kick off into the end zone (especially in high school since you are kicking from the 40 yard line).. 45 yards is far below average.

maximum communities have a kicker who can placed it into the endzone. Whoever stated customary for a kicker who's a freshman is..... would not be attentive to what they are speaking approximately. The kicker on my group become our 280 pound freshman protecting address. He in basic terms kicked it to the endzone each time. maximum good communities have a guy or woman who can do this so the customary is approximately 60 yards.
