I am confused as to why he thinks the lions will win more than ten games. I understand that he is confident but he should have kept it to himself, now everyone will want to beat the lions even more.

The consensus right now is that either the Patriots or the Colts will win the AFC. What teams do you think could be sleeper picks to come out in the AFC and why?


For me, two teams come to mind. One is Denver. A young quarterback (cutler), two solid backs and decent recievers on offense..Defensively, a big loss in Al Wilson, but they get jarvis moss and kareem brown in the draft, solidifying an already good defensive line. Dre Bly and Champ Bailey will form one of the most potent DB combos in the league. This team could go far barring injuries.
The second team I would consider a sleeper, the jacksonville jaguars. Look on offense, they have a big physical o-line, big recievers, and two power backs. The strength of that offense could rival any defense in the league. Their defense features the best DT combo (Stroud and Henderson), all pro defensive back Rashean Mathis, Mike Peterson, and rookie Reggie Nelson. Like I said with denver, barring injuries, this team could go far.

Like the tuck rule. Or the "you cant hit an undefended receiver rule". The part a hate the most is how the quarterbacks are so protected by rules. Like you cant hit them below the waist or use your helmet on them. i love the game when there are BIG hits back with these rules people get flagged for just playing the game.

First things first both the Lions and Cardinals need to get the heck out of the NFL, until they can prove that there good enough to make the playoffs. The Texans will have there day but come on both the Lions and the Cardinals have been so bad for so long. It's time for both of them to go and also they dont even have any fans. I dont think I ever met anyone that has liked the Cardinals (sorry to criticize but being honest) and the Lions hate their general manager aka Matt Millen and always boo there team everytime they go out and play. Sorry to say and let's just face it these two teams need to go! Anyone else agree's?

Plus 30 is how it use to be. By the way no one wants to have a crappy team and watch them every week.

they put a white player on the cover. John Madden used to be on the cover and nothing bad happened to him.

Can anybody give me any reasons why Brett Favre isn't the greatest quarterback ever? Don't give me the excuse that his numbers over the last couple years have been terrible because it doesn't matter who is quarterback with the talent that they had on the team over the past couple of years they would have sucked.

I'm asking this question again because i leftsome info out. Most is copy and pasted. I am about 5'5 and weight 155lbs. Im 13 and normally play center because i have the fastest reflexes on the team. Im also the second best blocker on the team. (The best will go pro, easy.) I was wanting to go out for running back and be a power back like J-train outta Texas A&M or like Bettis since im the fastest big dude on the team. I run between a 5.5 and a 5.6 40 yd dash. I have also thought about DT and TE. DT is pretty explanatory, but people are always telling me that i should be a TE because i have "great" hands. I'm not sure if i wanna play fullback because our play book doesn't have hardly any fullback oriented plays. I'm not a ballhog or anything, but i do wanna get the ball a few times.

I thought they had every right to do what they did; he was an embarrassment to their franchise and he was potentionally dangerous but those are just personal opinions...
