lol thats funny.a carson palmer or peyton maning or drew brees who would be perfect. but i dont think its cus of the race. its just. madden takes ppl who had excellent years. and ususally when a player has an amazin year u cant usually do what u did last year. every one is entitled to there slump seasons. by makin vince young cover boy, theres easier chance to break the curse since he didnt put out super star numbers, but the titans win colum might go down. and plus if vince young can break this ppl will keep hypin him. this is all a busniss plan.

Well, 2008, it's Vince Young. No prediction, he's on the cover. I think he's going to have a great year. Won't beat the Colts into the playoffs, but there you go. They might get a wild card spot. If you look at that list of players, they were several years into their careers, when injuries are more likely.

George was a six year vet, Culpepper 4yrs, Faulk 10 years, Vick 4yrs, Lewis 10yrs, McNabb 8yrs, Alexander 7yrs. I don't think the murder trial had anything to do with John Madden. Look at all the NFL players that are in trouble with the law that DIDNT make it on the cover.

I don't think race has anything to do with it.

Vince Young's playing style does make him more succeptible to being injured BUT he did bet the SI cover jinx 3 times that and the fact that the last person to beat the madden curse was former Titan Eddie George: Eddie George, then of the Tennessee Titans, who graced the Madden NFL 2001 box, is often said to be the next 'cursed' player, even though in the year he was on the cover, he had career highs in yardage and touchdowns. 2000 Tennessee Titans Games:16 Attempts:403 YARDS:1,509 YPC:3.7 TDS:14
HE NEVER TORE HIS ACL

example of the SI cover Jinx: December 2005 — The last SI cover of the year featured USC Trojans stars Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart, after which the Trojans went on to lose to Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns in the 2006 Rose Bowl.

You know what, this so-called "Madden Curse" is getting boring now. It's just coincidence and very bad luck. In case you haven't noticed, other players in the league get injured and suffer loss of form as well you know.

I really hope that Vince Young has a great season and builds on the success of his rookie year, so talk of all this curse nonsense can begin to stop.

There's no way to know. Obviously, the odds are stacked against him. And being a running quarterback increases the chances of an injury. But me being a Titans fan, I'd love to see the curse broken this year.

particular it became. The QB curse has no longer something to do with the playoffs. it is meant to the two recommend harm or a terrible season. 22 interceptions isn't stable, yet he threw 680 circumstances - it is nonetheless extra advantageous than 30 tries without one. i do no longer evaluate that terrible the two.

I give Vince Young 2 weeks before something bad happens and messes up his entire season.

If Vince Young was a qb and not a running back, it might happen.
