Cutler will prove the best over time. He has better decision making skills and arm strength. Plus he is playing for a quaterbacks coach that will pull the best out of him. Young will burn out sooner because of his reliance on his legs and the lack of a running game to give him time to throw.

The titans had Cutler in for a workout prior the draft. Winds above 15mph. Coaching staff thought about moving the workout indoors but Cutler chose to throw outdoors. This is the same guy in some draft boards was higher than Young and Leinhart. He not only impressed the Titans but the Jets as well since they were present for the workout too and picked 4th.
Anyone who plays for the Texas or USC is obvious going to have talent all across the board. "If Cutler can take a bunch of future doctors and lawyers and had them competing against the Florida Gators, this guy is a stud." John Lynch.
That draft big three are special in their own right but McNair was great, McNabb was great and Vick was great. Before Elway and the Broncos switched to the west coast offense and ran more, so came the Super bowls.
Oh, Young did well simply because of Henry's running and if Cutler played earlier in the season, who knows.
Cutler and Young are winners. Young is a freak no doubt but I think Cutler is in a better organization and will be rewarded for it. Young doesn't have any WR or RB and to play QB you need them both. I won't be surprised if he makes the pro bowl Cutler.

As far as natural skill goes it's Vince Young hands down. But if your talking from a football persepective, it's Jay Cutler for the simple fact that Cutler has more weapons and a better running game surrounding him than Young does.
GO BRONCOS!!

Hmmmmm... I actually believe a better question would be Leinart or Young. Matt has a stronger and more accurate arm than Cutler, although the latter has more intangibles. But either way, I would go with Vince Young since he is a guy you can really build a fresh franchise around. (That's what the Titans are doing now) He has the ability to make a play in the clutch with either his feet or his arm. Cutler needs a good o-line to be consistently successful, however, Young has the mobility to still win games without a solid O-line. Granted, he cannot play an entire season without a good O-line, but Young can play much better without solid blockers than Cutler can.

I like Vince Young as a franchise player for his team but that's all he's gonna be. He doesn't have the offensive & defensive weapons that Jay Cutler has to rely on. The Broncos have the best secondary in the league as of now, with Champ Bailey & Dre Bly holding down the outsides and John "Mr. Concussion" Lynch covering the middle and not to mention Javon Walker, Rod Smith, & Brandon Stokely, Cutler's artillery is complete.

Jay Cutler will be better over time. Because Vince will burn his legs out running and will have to start throwing more. Which he is not the best at.

reraise 4, when is 9-7 identical to 8-8. Let's see what Jay can do with a full year as starter. I know VY. didn't start the entire year. But Jay has the potential to be a great QB. I just see a lot of ifs with Vince. If he had more talent around him, if he can stay healthy. C'mon that goes for any athlete in any sport. Vince needs to stay in the pocket. don't try to be Vick. Vince is a better QB than Vick. Oh and to the KC fan I have nothing bad to say about your team, except they suck. But hey at least their not the Raiders. Go Broncos

Vince has to be better. Not many rookie "qbs" can make that kind of impact on that kind of team. I'm sorry but Cutler has and will have more talent on his team in the near future, so he has to do less to make his team work (Big Ben any one?).
Vince's team as a whole is sub par and therefore he must push the issue at times with his legs, bringing up the "he can only run" cliche'.
Cutler is nice also, and he is no stiff when he has to move either. But in todays NFL, if you don't have a top flight O-line, you better have some foot speed.

Vince Young, he proved himself last year and brought that Titans team up even though they didnt have much for talent on that team, Jay Cutler did ok but not enough to prove to me that hes gonna be outstanding.

Cutler has talent. Cutler is part of a great organization, has loads of talent around him, what should be a solid D, one of the best coaches around behind him. Young really has none of that except maybe the coaching, Fisher is a good coach. I don't see Cutler having superstar numbers, he won't have to with the supporting cast he has, but he'll produce wins and that is all that matters.
