Ok, I am thinking about trying out for football this year. I am playing baseball, but I wanted to do something more. I am around 5'8" and about 155 lbs. I have nice muscles and a lilttle bit of belly fat. I am pretty bad at throwing and catching, but most people say I am good at tackeling and blocking. I am in 7th grade, age 13, I will probilly be playing with guys 13-15/16. Not that fast for short distance, but I ran a 7 minute mile. So, my question is, what position should I play and if there is more than one, could you list pros and cons. Thank's all answers appreciated.
