I just wanted to enter the draft as a joke. I know you don't need an agent. I will fill out the paper work. I'll send them a tape of me playing backyard football.

Go to College, Get scouted and when u become a junior or senior announce that you want to enter the draft and go through the quailification and paper work to submit into the NFL draft...also find an agent that is respected

A player is not eligible for the NFL Draft until his high school graduating class has been graduated for three years.
But you'll likely never get drafted. To get drafted you'd have to have some kind of a good reputation as a football player. NFL teams don't get enough draft picks and they are too valuable to draft someone as a joke.
If you're wanting to play a joke on your friends, you might potentially write to an NFL team, and see if their personell department might send you something on team letter-head saying that you were getting a free-agent try-out or something like that. Depending on how uptight or lax they are, they might do you a favor and send something like that.

Actually, anyone who has been 3 years removed from graduating high school is eligible for the NFL Draft. It just so happens that college is the best option for improving ones game while waiting those 3 years. So if you are 3 years removed from high school and have a cannon of an arm, can read defenses, and run the 40 in 4.3 secs, chances are you will be drafted in April even if you didn't go to college.

You have to attend college and play until you are at least a junior. Then hire an agent, fill out any necessary paperwork and hope you get drafted.

you have to be at least three years removed from high school (junior or redshirt sophmore) to enter the draft from college
