He might.
If he wasn't having any fun, and it was more a chore and a problem than it was a fun time playing sports, than no - he shouldn't regret it.
If he did it for another reason, like he didn't feel like he was good enough, or maybe some girl told him to quit, then yes - he very well might regret his decision.
I quit football my sophomore year, because I wasn't having fun, and I have never regretted it. That was a long time ago, but I don't regret it. Try asking him why he quit and then you'll know.

It depends on why he quit. If he quit to go sit in the house in play video games all day, yeah he will regret it but if he quit because he found other things he likes better or he didnt like to play football to begin with it, maybe not. It depends.

lifes too short to regret things. if the team is going no where and there are better things to do then football is a waste of time. i love football but it wasnt worth it. our football team hasnt had a winning season in over 20 years with the same crappy coach.

Probably. Most people only play sports in school and he may regret not playing later if he likes football.

It depends: if he sucks and he hates football, then no. But if he is pretty good and is giving football up in favor of another sport, then he probably will regret it later on.
