I myself am a vikings fan, and I'll tell you about them. First off, the Vikings acquired Pat from Buffalo, and Pat made his first Pro Bowl this year. He wasn't originally selected, but I forget how he got in. He recorded a sack, and had 40 tackles this year, and helped lead the vikings to an average of (I think) 60 yards rushing per game.

Kevin Williams was originally a viking, and he started off at Defensive end. He didn't like it at DE, and was moved into the middle with Pat. He also made the Pro Bowl this year, and he recorded 5 sacks.

Kevin Williams is the better of the brothers a pro bowler , a first round selection in 2001 or 2002 out of Oklahoma St.,and a great pass defender he will be in 3 or 5 more pro bowls, pat williams was originally drafted by the bills then traded over is just a humongous beast normally playes on 1rst and 2nd downs for the run. For the girl who said she loves the vikings and got viking glasses and is the biggest fan ever. Who her and her dad are gonna go see a chief game against the vikings in minnesota and she loves brad johnson, well sweety he doesnt play for the vikings no more, he got cut and now plays for the Cowboys. (P.S. A true Viking fan would know that!!!!!!!!)

I'm not as familiar with the William's brothers are, but I do know that they aren't brothers =D.

Anyway, Kevin was the 9th overall pick in the 2003 Draft out of Oklahoma State. I remember that draft, he went a couple picks behind Leftwich that year. I do know that Pat is a veteran of the league, he's been around for a while.

The Vikes defense was nasty last year. Erasmus James is going to have a breakout year this year, just watch. adding Brian Robison and Rufus Alexander will really help. They also get Chad Greenway back from injury. Now we can see what this kid can do. The D-back field will be great this year, even without Smoot

Vikes did rank #1 in rush D last year but that is a deceiving stat. They also ranked 27th in pass D so what do you suppose teams geared their offensive game plans for? Obviously the weak Viking secondary which in turn gave a rather false sense of a superior run stopping D.

Kevin and Pat Williams are indeed good.

The problem is that your defensive ends don't stay healthy enough, and that Darren Sharper and your corners have lost a step. If you had Denver's corners, Baltimore's linebackers, Washington's safeties, Indianapolis' d-ends, with Minnesota's D-tackles, you got a top defense.

I've heard of Kevin Williams, he is a stellar defensive lineman. But Pat Williams I am unfamiliar with.

I haven't seen them play. but for the williams 36 & 44 tackles with 5 and 1 sack respectively is ok but nothing special there. by the stats yeah rush defense is #1 but only 6 games were against teams that were in the top 16 (top half)in the league in rush off. and you had 4 games against teams ranked in the bottom 6 in rush off. that certainly helps the stats. #1 in rush def but you gave up 20 pts per game, and 11 of your games were against teams that ave less than 20 pts/gm. In other words your def gave up more pts than the opponents off averages. not good. ie you gave up 24 to miami whose 4 worse in the league in scoring off(16.3). Obviously your other problem is offense an anemic 17.6 pts per game(7th worst in the league). but with that weak schedule, seattle was a good win but you should have had at least 4 more wins with 2 green bays, 49ers and miami, with a possible 2 more with rams and jets. I'm sorry but with that schedule 6-10 is pathetic.

Who cares, why bother running when you can pass all day on those purple panzies. Not to mention their offense is a joke. Ooh, two good tackles. Big deal. The rest of your team sucks.
