Right now I have been lifting weights, running, and watching running back instructional videos. By the fall of 2008 I should be able to bench 375, squat 500, and run a 4.4 40-yar dash. Can I realistically make the team?

Personally I think they should pick Russell but I could see arguments for other players such as Calvin Johnson.

First, DirecTV renews its exclusive agreement with the NFL Sunday Ticket so nobody that has Dish Network or cable can ever watch their out of market team's games. Now, they just acquired exclusive rights to televise the MLB Extra Innings package. I predict that within the next 10 years, ALL NFL games will be available ONLY via pay-per-view. And if that is successful, (and of course it will be because we cannot go without our football), baseball is sure to follow. I guess the term "monopoly" means nothing to our lawmakers anymore.

I was thinking we need a different type of feature back. I just think we need a faster back with good hands to catch passes. I like jamal but he just doesn't seem to have the same talent that made him the most feared back in the the league a few years ago. What do you think?

Detroit is so predictable and boring within the 15 or 20 yardline it stinks..... they have been that way for years since way back before the Heidi game.........why don't they ever change? I think I could call better plays than those guys making millions for Detroit..other teams are so much more imaginative and creative and they play like PROS instead of timid high/schoolers.

Okay. I am a quarterback in Silver Spring, MD. I am the 1st or 2nd best QB in my school and best in my neighborhood. My dream is to play for Maryland in college, but I will attend a small high school.

ok, I'm a highschool freshman and I'm a girl.... the freshman football team has no cuts and me and a couple of friends wanted to play on the team, but you have to know what position you would like to play.... i haven't played for 4 years now and idk what position to play......ok, i'm 5 foot 6 and a half and 140 pounds. i have amazing ups for a chick..... i can catch almost anything(compliments of softball)...... i am pretty fast and i have great balance, but a tendancy to trip over my feet. i am also very strong for a girl... i can benchpress 150 and squat 190. so yeah, what position should i play??

Yes, Notre Dame won a title anyway (1988) but IMO they would've been even better if Rocket was used more.

I'm born and raised in the Bay Area, but I've always wondered which is the more popular football team? My fave is the 49ers since the Raiders weren't around (there were in LA) when I was growing up.

well this situation has gotten really weird. Plummer has now been trade to the bucs, for a conditional draft pick in the 2008 draft. So now the bucs have Garcia, Sims, and Plummer. If Plummer stays retired, then denver can go back and force plummer to pay back part of the signing bonus and broncos get nothing in terms of draft pick from the bucs. If plummer unretires, then the bucs hold the rights to plummer. But the bucs also need to keep $5.3 million in cap room inorder to keep plummer around his base salary. This essentially means that if plummer is like "ok I'll play", then the bucs will have to either pay plummer 5.3 million or cut or trade plummer. So whats your take on all this?? Will Plummer play next season for what team? If it is the bucs, what will the bucs do wiht plummer, garcia and sims??

Lewis does have some legal baggage, but is a veteran who would be a quality backup to Maroney...They do still have Kevin Faulk...
