ok, I'm a highschool freshman and I'm a girl.... the freshman football team has no cuts and me and a couple of friends wanted to play on the team, but you have to know what position you would like to play.... i haven't played for 4 years now and idk what position to play......ok, i'm 5 foot 6 and a half and 140 pounds. i have amazing ups for a chick..... i can catch almost anything(compliments of softball)...... i am pretty fast and i have great balance, but a tendancy to trip over my feet. i am also very strong for a girl... i can benchpress 150 and squat 190. so yeah, what position should i play??

Go for linebacker. You are big enough for freshman football and its always better to deliver the hits than to be the one gettin the S**t knocked outta them....I was a linebacker in highschool... funnest position on the field!

you should try a tight end. You have the makings of a reciever if you were taller. Being strong will make you a better fit for tight end so you can block some and catch balls. also, good thing you are playing. most girls at my school wouldnt play football.

the offensive line (o-line, OL) is up front, there job is to block the defensive line from sacking the quarterback. theyre usually the biggest guys on the team. the center (C) is in the middle of the offensive line he snaps the ball to the quarterback when the play starts. the quarterback (qb) is the leader of the team his job is to throw the ball to his teammates or run (usually throw) to get to the endzone. his job is just to win games. the runningback (rb) runs the ball for the team, the quaterback hand it of to him most often the wide receiver (wide-out, wr) catches the passes from the quarterback the tight end (TE) is usually a big guy who can catch but is slower the the wide receiver, he has the same job as the receiver the fullback (FB) is the runningback that usually comes in to get short yards or tries to run it in the endzone. he's bigger than the runningback typically hope i helped

if you ups and balance and speed id say cornerback or safety. o wait your a girl uhh. id still say cornerback just work on coordination and timing. football is a tough sport and youll get killed if you act like a girl.

sounds like my ex girl.. but you sound like you can hit... take a shot at corner.. you wont have to hit if you can just swat the ball before it hits a receiver and leg tackles work better if your under weight... corner back or wide receiver..
