I'm probably going to ride it only for a few times and I don't need anything too expensive... Do you know any good mountain bikes for under $300? Should I get 24" or 26"? How do I know what to look for?

I don't think there is any way to adjust them. So I'm guessing I need to get some riser handlebars or a new stem. Does anyone know of a good website to find this stuff, or possibly another solution to my problem?

When I will have the money, I plan to buy a Hitch Bicycle Rack. Until then, I can afford a "SportRack Trunk Bike Carrier" for 3 bicycles.

Anyone bought this before?
Would you recommend it?

Remember, Lance Armstrong was also accused of same, and the charges are not specific to any one country. Opinions?I know my inbox will be hammered with answers on this one.

I am interested in a 2006 Marin Palisades Trail Disc Bike. I cannot decide on the 13" or the 15" frame. The standover height on the 15" frame is 30.5" which is too tall for me. However, since the top tube on this bike is sloped, I'm not sure if this size is too big or too small. I am 5'6" and my inseam is about 30". Does anyone have any advice? Serious answers only please.

Having been a professional bike rider for so many years Lance probably had his fill of smelly privates. Had she been more attentive to her hygeine maybe she would still be dating him.

I do 500 - 700 km (~300 - 450 miles) a month at 25 to 35 kph. I have always used elastic waist band cycling shorts but am now experiencing some irritation at the elastic contact points due to particularly hot conditions locally. Would appreciate your shared experience. Would the bib design help? Are there any disadvantages? Thanks.

I get sunburn on my arms and my pastor who is also a cyclist had mentioned these thin white arm covers to wear so that i won't get burn ed and keep constantly putting sunscreen on my arms all the time. I also don't really want to wear long sleeve shirts underneath the bicycling jersey in the 90 degree heat while i am doing the bike ride across georgia in June.

just recently my started creaking, it sounds like its coming from the bottom bracket area. i have the 07 LX cranks with integrated spindles and a race face diablous bb. what should i do? i dont have the tools to take it apart and neither does my shop. i had to use poorman's tools to get it installed in the first place and i wont be able to get it off on my own.

it seems to creak the worst when on the 2nd chainring. it does it a little on the 1st and i can barely hear it at all when on the 3rd.
