There is no comparison, your dealing with apples and oranges. Rock Climbing shoes are not a form of casual shoe, they are specifically designed for climbing rocks. Casual shoes are exactly that, for casual use. Don't use a casual shoe to climb rocks, won't work! Rock climbing shoes have special soles and toe areas and sidewalls for gripping the rocks.

Rock climbing shoes are designed specifically for the rock. They have special sticky rubber on the bottom of the shoes that allow you to grip the rock better with you feet.

Also, rock climbing shoes allow you to use holds that would otherwise not be useful.

The tip of the rock climbing shoe (the toes there), is harder because when you rock climb, your toes need to be curled (like wearing a shoe 3 sizes too small) so that you can stand on the smaller rocks properly.

If you use normal casual shoes, your toes are not curled (hard to walk with toes curled), so you might not be able to stand on the rocks in a stable manner.
