I want to keep the bikes from sliding around whenever I'm rolling down the highway.

Yeah you can find the same product at performance bike or nashbar, I have 2 in my truck. I did end up with a crack in my carbon fork though, probably unrelated but it did make me think about all that vibration and bouncing around with no give what so ever locked into that mount.

There is a product by Yakima called the Bedhead. It mounts to truck beds and even locks for security. It should run around $75. Thule has a similar product.
