In different playoffs he's schooled the likes of Shaq, Robinson, Ewing and he still doesnt get a look in at being the best center of all time. I also remember his team won the titles whilst some guy by the name of MJ went on break.

Or all they have alike is that they are two very efficent white point guards, with a pass first mentality?
Who is better?

What would you do in the draft/offseason?

My own personal idea.

Draft Hawes
Resign Nocioni
Adios to P.J. and Malik
Replace those two with draft picks (Marc Gasol?)

Nest Year's Line-Up

PG Hinrich/Duhon
SG Gordon/Thabo
SF Deng/Griffin
PF Nocioni/Tyrus
C Wallace/Hawes

Your ideas?

there have been many top 3 picks who failed to stand out (kwame brown, olowokandi, etc). However, do y'all think oden and durant will be NBA superstars pretty soon?

What is their greatest need? Someone for Brucie's SF position?
Is Jacque an adequate backup PG for Tony?
Re-sign Oberto or give the C to Elson?

I'm confused because I saw a ESPN comment dated June 25th 07 he made about how weak Durant was and it said he was a Chicago Bull again! Yet I read also he was released by the Toro's in Dec 06! I"ve really been pulling for this kid to make a comeback after the motorcycle incident..hey some NBA team needs to put em on!!!!

Please keep your hatred of certain players out of this discussion and think about which matchups would be most entertaining and exciting. In these games the players really try!

I know they have to give up Bynum & Lamar, but obviously that isn't enough since the T-Wolves are now talking with Phoenix. As a Lakers fan, I would not want KG to go to PHX. But what else do the Lakers need to add to the deal to get KG? And do you think they will get him?

I mean, who else can they trade for, that would really be able to help the team out that much, to pair with Kobe??

Lamar Odom, and Andrew Bynum for Jermaine O'Neal??
I think that deal is kind of a wash. I like O'Neal, but if you have to subtract two pretty decent players from your roster to get him, then do you really improve yourself that much?? Enough to be a legit title contender, in the ridiculously tough western conference??

I think the Lakers should trade Bryant (to some team in the east, like New York, or Chicago) and begin rebuilding. If things just stay the way they are, it's first round and done in the playoffs.

Speculations about his rape trial that really bug me are:
1). "He must be guilty because he's cocky."
2). "He must be innocent because he's a good athlete."
3). "Adultery is no big deal."

I am 95% sure that a rape did not occur. Kobe is guilty of adultery though, and will one day have to answer to God for his infidelity. But the crime of rape will not be on his conscience.

1). Another man's sperm was found on the woman's body AND her clothes just the day after. She told the police that the last time she had sex, her boyfriend used a condom. No traces of the mysterious sperm was found on Kobe. this evidence points to the fact that she had sex within 24 hours of after brutally raped. She wasn't as traumatized as she claims.

2). Twice tried to kill herself because her boyfriend ignored her.

3). Partied in Calgary just 1 month after the alleged rape. Calgary is famous for its drugs and prostitution. Wouldn't she be afraid of getting raped again?
