On Kobe's website it says, "the ONE THING I will never sacrifice when it comes to basketball is WINNING."
If that's true, why would he want to play for the Knicks? The team hasn't made the playoffs in years. They're hamstrung by way too many long term, expensive contracts. And they lost more games than the Lakers while playing in a weaker conference. If he actually went there, he would be taking a huge step back basketball wise.
If Kobe's really serious about winning, why wouldn't he just ask for a trade to the Spurs or Mavericks?
