They had a great overall team, were huge favorites and had home court advantage but still they lost. Your thoughts?

They were never good. Larry Brown is not a savior. They got lucky that year that they played a Pacers team in the Eastern Conference Finals who had an injured Jermaine O'Neal, and they got lucky that Karl Malone got hurt and that the whole Lakers team was fighting with each other. Don't try to say that a champion doesn't ever get lucky when they win. It can happen. Their defense was overrated, the team was overrated. Who is willing to admit that the the oh so great reign of the Pistons is over?

im not going to fault bron he's played great, but watching the game tonight there have been numerous fouls called vs the pistons that are very questionable and numerous noncalls on things the cavs have done. i personally believe the nba need lebron and the cavs to win so they helped by having slightly bias refs, it wouldn't be the first time the nba had done something like this ( '85 nba draft with the knicks so they could get patrick ewing) im just wondering if neone else agrees with me on this

The rumor is Jermaine O'Neal to the Lakers for Lamar Odom, and Andrew Bynum. O'Neal is having some fairly serious off season surgery, and is a few years past his prime. Odom is a terrific all around talent who is capable of triple doubles, and is very underappreciated by a number of Lakers fan. Bynum has a TON of potential and could one day be an all-star. Not being a Lakers fan, I hope this deal goes through, because when the combination of Jermaine O'Neal and Bryant can't get out of the second round of the playoffs in the west, everyone in LA LA Land will be gnashing their teeth. I would feel bad for O'Neal if this happened, because he would get all the blame. Not the golden child, Kobe Bryant.

Closets score gets 10 points, if you want you can
predict LeBrons Points for tie breaker.

For the Sake of NBA I hope that LeBron Wins. SHAQ is getting
older and the future of the NBA is in LeBron's hand.
It would be great if they win and are in the finals, then I would
watch the Finals, despite the SPURs being in the finals.

People are always calling out flop when someone either fakes as if they were fouled or over acts when they get fouled.
What is the technical term for flop and do you frown upon it?

Ok. Here's the scheme. My sister's birthday is coming up this September, and I decided to try to get Steve Nash, Grant Hill, and some of her other favorite players to send her autographed memorobilia, or do something like that for her.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could find a website that contains specific information on these people so that I can be in contact with them.

By the way, if it helps, there is a company with the name "Steve Nash" I found on the internet, but it turns out that it has nothing to do with basketball whatsoever, so try to avoid that website if you could.

Thank you for your consideration and cooperation. It will be very much appreciated if you do happen to come up with something -- anything -- about the contact information that I am requesting.

Thank You!

I said POUND FOR POUND

I don't really know what is the cause of this because most people I play with, if they haven't played for a week, their shot is about the same as before. I have been playing basketball for a long time now, at least one hour a day 6 days a week, and every time I go on vacation or do something non related to basketball for even two days, my shot goes off, and I feel awkward with the ball. That never happens to me when I play for consecutive periods say 5 days of practice and then a game, I usually score 20+ points. Could anyone help me with the reason why, if I don't practice for a little, my whole game goes down the drain? Maybe some drills could help...Thanks.

If the 97-98 Chicago Bulls would have been kept intact by Jerry Krause, how do you think they would have done in the 50 game lockout season and the playoffs? (I dont think they would have won another title) What do you think?

The NBA had quite a good global profile many years ago, but has gone backwards whilst football has grown in leaps and bounds. The most recognised athlete in the world was Michael Jordan and now it's David Beckham or Ronaldihno.

Most NBA players could walk down the street outside of America and nobody would know who they are.
