They were never good. Larry Brown is not a savior. They got lucky that year that they played a Pacers team in the Eastern Conference Finals who had an injured Jermaine O'Neal, and they got lucky that Karl Malone got hurt and that the whole Lakers team was fighting with each other. Don't try to say that a champion doesn't ever get lucky when they win. It can happen. Their defense was overrated, the team was overrated. Who is willing to admit that the the oh so great reign of the Pistons is over?

Yeah, maybe....

with Cleveland Cavaliers & Chicago Bulls on the side, the Pistons will find difficulty next season to reach the Conference Finals again.

If you wanna look at it from that angle what about the cavs
1.They played a wizard team with no Gilbert or no Caron
2.then the injured nets team
3.Then they defeated a pistons team who you claim is lucky and no good
So the Cavs Must Be Lucky Too

"They were never good."

Five straight conference finals.

Mmmk.

How convenient for you to portray them TONIGHT as such a crappy team. They have been a great team for years now. They never really had a reign necessarily.

The answer to the real question is whether the Pistons will be making some changes soon, and I think they will.

Quit rambling and fetch me a pizza and soda pop.

Consider watching the Women's National Basketball Association, WNBA.
