Since you didn't specify I will start off with the smallest coach... from the Dallas Mavs, Avery Johnson (is only 5'10) 1 the smallest 10 players in the NBA are Earl Boykins(Bucks), Nate Robinson(NY),Andre Barrett (Bulls) Damon Stoudamire(Memphis), Mike Wilks(Seattle), Chucky Atkins(Memphis), Speedy Claxton(Hawks), John Lucas III(Rockets), Brevin Knight(Charlotte), Darrick Martin(Raptors). Guys like TJ Ford are listed as 6ft tall, but, guys like Martin are listed at 5'11 and when you see them side by side they are the same height...go figure. There are a couple other guys in the NBDL like Yuta Tabuse, the first Japanese player in the NBA who once "had a cup of coffee" in the league, and someday may make it in the NBA. We'll see. THE OTHER part of this is that you may have really been looking for the BEST small players in the NBA. Since you used the word best, my best 10 of the little guys are as follow( in no particular order), Iverson, Chris Paul, TJ Ford, Bibby, Jameer Nelson, Tony Parker, Nash (eventhough he's one of the taller of the group...Kidd is not on the list as he's big especially for a point guard) Baron Davis (same height as Nash but thicker),, Kirk Heinrich (same height as Nash&Davis but thin), and Billups (who is about the same height).

the points guards since the position if built for small quick people robinson boykins nelson even nash are pretty small
