Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan, period, you can't compare to him. Lebron is rather nice as well though, don't you think?

No he is Michael and Magic mixed together. He sees the court better than Michael but can score better than Magic. I don't know if he will ever be considered the best player ever by casual bball fans cuz he does not score all the time like Kobe and Jordan, but he should be. You should want your superstar to be more of a Lebron James than a Michael Jordan.
PS: and to the person who said it is just one game he has done this in, go back and look at the playoffs last year when he go the Cavs past the Wizards. Remember that first game? Chill out you jealous Mavs Fan!!!!

You can look at this one game and call him the next MJ. First of all, through that string of points Detroit decided not to play defense. Second of all, MJ has done it for a lot longer than LJ has. Lebron has not even put in the work to be in that class yet. I admit at 22 years of age Lebron is better that Jordan at 22. But Lebron has a looooong way to go to be the next Jordan.

Lebron James seems like a similar player like Michael Jordan, but most of the time Jordan had help from teammates like Pippen and Rodman. I think that Cavs should build on ilgauskas and hughes mainly and then we got another top notch performer like Jordan

There is ONLY ONE MICHAEL JORDAN...He is the best basketball player ever...There will NEVER be another one...and LeBron is good, but not even close...Kobe is more like Jordan than LeBron...

I think everybody has a different style. I think waiting for new Jordan is silly. Lebron James is different, he is not new Mj, he is new LEBRON. Like Kobe. There won't be a MJ.

Lebron is not the new Michael. If anything he is the new Magic! he plays much more like magic than michael, a 6'9" point guard. Even if he leads his team to multiple championships, he still plays more like magic

the new MJ naw but he is the first Lebron. he's more of a hybrid/new breed/prototype player for the 21st century, the Mr. Everything, the difference being he can channel darn near everybody, when he needs to get ya double digit assist..BAM, when he needs to score in bunches he can do that, critical rebounds..check, three pointers, got em, drives to the basket..here ya go, steals...call da law. once he improves his free throw average (i guarantee an eight to ten pt increase in his avg next season) and learn better man on man defensive abilities/techniques (his instincts are awesome but like mike once he really understands the game, that's a wrap), he'll then be the greatest of his era (baring injury...remember penny h.). the guy could morph into any type of player he wants to cause he is truly the prototypical player right now, he has size, strength, ability, work ethic, athleticism, bball IQ (and growing), leadership, intangibles and finally a killer instinct (which has finally flared to life, i feel sorry for the league, THIS portion of his game could be MJ pt 2) without the ball hog syndrome that seems to afflict poor Kobe Bryant so badly.

Not even close. Micheal Jordan was and still is amazing. Lebron may be his own kind of good but no one will ever surpass Jordan

He is the 1st Lebron James. I think he is a better all around player than Jordan, but Jordan is a better scorer.
