That's a close one. I may take LeBron slightly... ever so slightly.... over D-Wade. Wade is a much better defender and free throw shooter. James is more able to get easier shots because of his size. It really depends on which day. If James gets his team to the NBA Finals and lose to the Spurs, ..(which I fully expect) that would in no way hurt James' status. However, if his Cavaliers were to pull off the greatest upset in sports history...... I'd have to consider James far superior to Wade, but as of 6/2/2007, it's too close to call.
******* Cleveland beating Detroit isn't a true upset. Everyone keeps talking about Detroit playing down to the level of competition, but the fact is Detroit is a bad as most of the other "good" teams in the Leastern Conference. The Jazz, Mavericks, Suns and Nuggets are better than every team in the Least. Golden State & Houston would whip everyone save Detroit and Cleveland. The Warriors & Rockets would have a puncher's chance against either. Hell, even the Lakers ...(worse team in the Western Conference) were better than Washington, Toronto, New Jersey and Orlando.*************
The Suns/Spurs series was the "true" NBA FINALS this season......(and yes, both were better than the Mavericks)

It's a pretty close one. D-Wade is a better clutch player, but LeBron is the better shooter. Speed and quickness are about equal. I think that LeBron edges D-Wade by a narrow margin; during the season, the Heat fared pretty well without Wade. With LeBron playing pretty much every game, the Cavaliers notched 50 wins. Don't forget that he is 22 while D-Wade is 25.
By a tiny margin, LeBron is the better player. If he masters Kobe's fadeaway, which he's starting to do, he will be unstoppable

I'm from Cleveland, and i think LeBron is better. I also love Dwade.
LeBron is not a ballhog... i remembered when i complained about him always passing the ball. He finally shoots more. When people cant believe what LeBron did on Thursday night they just give him the title of being a ball hog... even though he passed 3 or 4 times but no one got it in... I rather have a ballhog that wins the game... then a team player who always looses.
LeBron is the king...
LONG LIVE THE KING!
rise up!
go cavs!
And ppl look at LeBrons assists... he is so unselfish!

It really depends how you view the players. Wade is a team-player that assists others to step up. James is a player, not necessarily selfish, but one who steps up in big situation with assist from others.
Wade can't shoot 3, while Lebron can't play defense and misses lots of free throw.
They are pretty much same...

OH MY FRICKIN GOD!
so easy of a question!
LEBRON!
look, lebron is NOT a ball hog, neither is Kobe orAI.
dont believe me? lets see, the people that think lebron is a ball hog probably only watched highlights from GAME 5 and realized that he didnt pass the ball at all in the overtimes, wich he didnt. but that is because he was on fire. draining shots from everywhere. as you saw the team didnt want lebro to pass at all because they didnt want to miss a shot. in game 1 lebron was too generous some think because he passed the ball at the last second to Marshall.
Dwade is good...but just not as good as lebron. in a 1-1 match lebron would win because he is stronger, taller, and can shoot long range balls with ease. lebron can play defense but it is overpowered by his amazing offensive skills. ALSO: Dwade is on a better team with better players like Shaq who will get the rebound and score.

Lebron because he has proven to be more durable, he is stronger, younger, and he makes the players around him better. Even though i luv D-Wade and he has a championship he did it with Shaq and an experienced team!!

That is a complete toss-up. Lebron is bigger, stronger, a better passer and rebounder. But Wade is quicker, better decission maker, a more consistant shooter, and he is more clutch than Lebron. I dont know which is better. Good question.
