Yes he is Shaq himself even declared that Allen Iverson is the best pound per pound player of alll time.. Scored 19 straight points in a playoff game, tied with George Gervin at having a nba seasons with higest scoring average( second only to Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain with 10 apiece), 3 time all-star MVP and 2001 NBA MVP only being 6 ft tall(more like 5'11 if you look closely) and only weighs about 165 pounds. Now that says it all

NO!!!!
Reason is Iverson never made other players around
him better. LeBron does. Even pound for pound LeBron
is better.
Ask this Question if you have to pick between Iverson
and LeBron when they were both 23 which would you pick?
if you want shot blocking, rebounding, passing, and
high shooting percentage, not to mention heart, you
pick Lebron. Only think Iverson has a bit more quickness
and ball handeling, but defsens and shooting percentage
were pretty average.

you gotta give it to king James but you cant knock iverson hes not to far behind lebron closed the game out last night but you don't see that to often.iverson can score just as many points and hes no slacker on d either and hes definitely better at the line with the game on the line.king James is the type of player that makes everybody around him better and we all know how what can put the ball in the hole he just needs to be a better clutch player and last night was the best i seen since mike taking control of game like that. I'm a witness!

I personally had to endure 10 years of AI taking too many shots and being a bonafide ball hog. LeBron has the natural ability and is now only a game away from taking the Cavs to the Finals. C'mon, he scored his team's final 25 points in OT. No question LeBron's the man!

Well, pound for pound literally, LeBron is like twice as big as Iverson. Iversons only like 6 foot, and 165lbs, and LeBron is 6' 8" and around 250lbs. LeBron would absolutley dominate him.

If James is listed at 6'8 and 240, while Iverson goes 6'0" and 165, how good does Iverson have to be in order to be better "pound for pound"?
Explain how that works.
Pound for pound comparisons are meaningless. It's a meaningless expression.

YES! Iverson has proven himself not only with his amazing skills and athletic ability but more so with his courage and big fighting heart. He gets bludgeoned and beat up up every night but he doesn't stop driving to the hoop. Lebron is obviously talented but he's never bigger than his hype.

Not even close. Lebron is now a bonafide leader and his team is succesful because of him. What has Iverson ever done for his teams' success?
