Marcus Camby - Great defensive player but limited in offense
That leaves us with Amare Stoudemire whom has more of a complete offensive and defensive game. He's not as intimidating on defense but does average around 1.5 steals and blocks which is more production on D that some of the players on this list on offense. In their prime Shaq would have been the best player but that was yesteryears ago. Amare may have the injury history but he is slowly getting back on track to the dominant player he was transcending towards before he went down with an injury.

Marcus Camby is better he is one of the best defenders in the NBA. He can give you 10 ppg 10 rpg 4 bpg 3 apg and maybe a steal or two. Amare is the better scorer but Carmelo makes up for Camby's scoring. Shaq and I'm assuming that's Shaq(Squa) Is getting too old he will probably spend the rest of his career in Miami playing Robin to Wade's Batman It ain't 2000/2001 and I don't even know why you mentioned Chandler and Big Z because neither of them are even worth talking about

Shaq and amare are much better then those other centers.But Amare isn't a good passer.therefore Shaq isthe best.Besides shaq alone was dominant enough to have 3 championships in a row.

Amare is best because he came off that devasting knee injurt and still got his team to the semi-finals. They didn't make it this year but they will get there next year. They would be some fools if they trade him for Garnet. I mean Garnet is good but he doesn't have that much left in him and Amare is still young.

in all their primes, shaq would definitely be the best. but right now Amare is the best, although he needs to learn to play some good solid D, something the rest of the list can do.

who is squa???????? what team does he play for? out of all those guys amare is the best, but i've never heard of this squa guy, so I can't say for sure.
