I think they should look for young athletic swingmen to help their rotation but i heard a rumor that the Spurs are in the running for Grant Hill's services.
If they do get Hill, they could instead look to shore up their frontline w/ an additional PF or C.

Oberto does little things that Elson doesn't. That's why he was the starter. There's got to be a better back up PG than Vaughan. Bowen will start next year. His defense is an absolute must. Maybe get a new wingman starter, move Ginobili and Finlay fulltime to the bench. Use Barry as trade bait. Grab Grant Hill. he's probably got one good year left. But they'll have to do it all this year because it would definitely be the last for this group of players. They're going to need a big youth movement in the 2008/2009 season. Go for broke one more time Spurs.

For now the Spurs are set in every position except Center. They are also getting older in every position; they aren't a young team. For the draft maybe they might get Alando Tucker but thats a reach, he would be a great pickup for them. They good get someone like Afflafo the G from UCLA, Ginobli is >30 so he will need a young backup.

I think they need to start thinking ahead and grooming for Bruce's replacement.
For what it's worth, they've had Zabian Dowdell in _twice_. He's a guard from Virginia Tech.
I don't know if Elson totally ready. He is fast and that's good. He many times missed his help defense assignment(s).
It would help them to get Fabricio Oberto back but don't know how much money he and his agent are looking to get.

They need a long 3, and a backup PG. They also need to be looking for young talent to replace Bowen and Horry.

the spurs need a TRUE center theyve had so many players thrying to play center for them since robinson left but they cant find any by the way the spurs are going to repeat

if u are a championship team u dont need 2 change anything... san anotnio knows that they are the best in the league so there is no need for them 2 change... just consistency and avoidance of injuries will do
